Atlantis Myth and the Mayan Calendar

Mayan pyramid Chichen Itza _________________________________________________________________ I was writing about the mysterious Mayan Calendar and the importance they give to the date, December 21’ 2012 in one of my past posts at the link below, and at that time I didn’t take it so seriously much. http://miho-entwistle.blogspot.com/2010/09/what-is-meaning-of-date-december-21.html Thank you for visiting my blog, that post is still one of the popular views in my blog and I would like to expand some more about that topic. I feel my initial idea about it is still a strong possibility, but I also got an idea about another possibility after reading “ Conversations with God 3” by Neale Donald Walsch. There is a section in this book where the Spirit Guide or God talks about a highly advanced ancient civilization on our planet which ended up destroying itself because it did not have an equally high spiritual frequency. In other words, they couldn’t handle the technology they h

My favorite Ave Maria performances by Emanuel Sandhu, Johnny Weir

The song Ave Maria was performed by several skaters, with different singers and Johnny Weir and Emanuel Sandhu ’s Ave Maria have been the most magical performances for me so far. If I didn’t watch Sandhu’s Ave Maria, there was no other competition for Johnny. Both of their Ave Maria are breathtakingly magical which gave me goosebumps, made me tears. Their emotion, water flow graceful movements, sensitivities, lines, expression, beauty, it was so hard to find these artists and I’m so glad to find them in men’s skating. Johnny Weir and Emanuel Sandhu , these two artists are my all time favorites forever. Comparing artistry of Sandhu and Johnny Weir is like trying to compare Tschaikovsky ( Piano concerto No 1, Nutcracker ) and Saint Saens ( The Swan, Danse Macabre ) and trying to decide which is better composer. Both are just incredible. One thing I noticed Sandhu and Weir have in common is that for both of them, their main leg they use is their left leg while

Beautiful letter to Japan from Emanuel Sandhu

I found a beautiful letter from Emanuel Sandhu to Japan in his fan’s blog at the link below, http://emanuelsandhu.jugem.jp/ - ( thank you to the blog owner for sharing his letter ! ) He sent this letter below, around April 29. “ To all of my Japanese skating fans and to all of the marvelous people of Japan, As the World Championships continue, I think of you often and pray for you often. There are no words that I can say that will mitigate the hardships that you all must have and continue to endure after the tragedies of the earthquake and tsunami. I can only hope that by watching members of your country skate, in fact all the skaters, that you will be able to find the inspiration to be stronger and fight harder just like they do everyday. Skating is not only a sport but an art and art is the freedom of self-expression. You too must make the journey to meet yourselves within and learn things about yourselves and others that lie in dark places. Brin

" Dream more than others think practical " - Howard Schultz

I was watching biography & the success story of Howard Schultz who is the chairman of Starbucks coffee , on TV the other day and I was inspired by his amazing passion for coffee which he offers in Starbucks and his heartfelt communication with customers and people, besides his success story. I love to read biographies, and success stories about any kind of topics, business, health, wealth, beauty, happiness, etc.. and always love to learn “ How “. and finding the common between all the successful people. He is famous and I suppose everyone knows about his biography and his success story. I just wanted to include his story in my blog Miho’s Favorites . Howard Schultz described his business and his selling of delicious coffee this way, “ This is not a transaction, not a calculation , no, it’s a passion ! and it’s about communication with people, with heart ! “ Especially this his quote above was very impressive and is spinning around in my head. Also,

Miki Ando’s near perfect season and her gold medal in World Championships 2011

Today, I would like to talk about Miki Ando who has just won her second world’s gold medal on April 30 2011. This news made me and my husband so happy ! Since last Olympics ( Vancouver Olympics ), we hadn’t been following skating competitions like before, mainly because we are just not crazy for the COP system, and so we were only checking the results of each event. Miki Ando’s victory was very impressive to me and I have been inspired by her strength this whole season. She won everything except GPF, and had a very successful season. She said “ I fought for Japan and wanted to give power and strength to all the victims who suffer from nature disaster, who lost their families and many other things they had . “ According to her, her health condition was not really good though, she learned how to handle the competition under that condition. She also had lost her father by car accident when she was a little girl, eight years old, so she knows how hurt it is to los
