We have been curious to see the movie “ Desire for Love“ about Chopin and finally we watched it last weekend. This story is about the relationship between Frederic Chopin and George Sand and her children. The title “ Desire for love “ exactly fits with the story. This is not a full bio about Chopin’s life and his music, ( although the soundtrack is absolutely awesome, with masterful performances of Chopin’s music by top pianists ), but mainly focuses on Chopin’s life after he met George Sand and their relationship. But Ray and I both actually really enjoyed it and watched it three times already. It’s impossible to show all the details of Chopin’s life, and even his relationship with George Sand within 2 hours. For casting, we both thought all the casts they used for this movie was good with great acting, except for Franz Liszt. And this is my only Con for this movie is that the actor they used to play Franz Liszt did not fit him at all. IMO, his image doesn’t fit with

  Happiness.     There is a famous quote which said     “ Happiness is within “ by …Martin Yan “  Happiness is a choice “ by Barry Kaufmann   I agree with these quotes.   I can be happy without doing anything, and getting happiness from my imagination.    And there is also happiness we can naturally feel when doing something we love. Surrounded by all my favorites makes me extremely happy.     One of them is listening to the beautiful sounds of music.    For this month so far, I’m crazy about another Frederic Chopin’s music again !      There are several new music I discovered from compositions which Chopin created when he was a teenager. Especially, this CD, ( the image below)    “ Chopin Complete Piano Music * Volume 15 “ with pianist Idil Biret ,  and the “ Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Robert Schakowsky ".      These are Chopin compositions when he was 18.  It’s unbelievable he created these amazing compositions when he was only 18 !  My favo

Last weekend, we were hanging around in a new shopping mall. Looking around many stores, Lovely coach's handbags. I like the hot pink one. There are also some rock style fashion. 　 Then... suddenly, a gorgeous model in a large poster caught my eyes. Hm ? Mac ? Aw wwwwwwww, it’s Johnny !!!! 　 I remember Johnny was tweeting something about Glitter and ice of Mac cosmetics. But I didn't expect or think he was the main model in such a big poster at the shopping mall. Too cool. Nice expression. and the image and theme are creative. I love the make-up. Johnny’s skin looks naturally very beautiful in the poster. I know he has beautiful skin, but that looks even more, Porcelain skin ? His poster made me interested in Mac’s foundation. I was looking for a new foundation recently, so it was a good opportunity. I have very sensitive skin which doesn’t fit with most of cosmetics. Ray was showing me a music goods catalog last night. I may be a little late to realize that there’s all this music high technology now, but it really amazed me there are so many kinds of software to help create many kinds of music nowadays. For example, Software with all the tools needed to create and publish quality scores ! Also , software for personal orchestra . One can get amazingly realistic orchestra sounds and textures. One can design a uniquely voiced string quartet or re-create the New York Philharmonic ! I love the sound of the piano , and there are virtual piano instruments and sound-design plug-in software. I’m not advertising these items here, but this makes me feel like even me, who has no idea how to create music, can create great music if I want to. But one may need at least some kind of arranging talent at using these tools, how to use the software, some creativity for melodies. And it still may be difficult for most people.
