Recently on the History channel on Monday nights, they were showing about ancient mysteries . One of the most interesting things in the show was a part about Nikola Tesla who was a genius scientist , who created the alternating current method of using electricity in the world. Without him, there was no electricity , ( or at least not used in the same way or method or as effectively as we know it ) , so therefore no light, no TV, no refrigerator, no air-conditioner, no heater, no microwave, no computer, no internet, etc.. He helped not only billions of people in his generation, but helped people in all future generations. How amazing is that ?  I can't imagine there is no electricity in my life.
