Wonderful gift from my Japanese relatives 2

We received another gift from my other relatives from Japan last month. These are several kinds of Japanese crackers ( called Osenbei in Japanese ), cookies , Japanese Seaweed ( Nori ),  good quality soy sauce.    Thank you very much to Uncle Sakae and Aunt Miyoko! I love all of them! They are my father's related Uncle and Aunt who are my father's youngest brother and his wife. I rarely met my father's  relatives since my father passed away (when I was 14 years old ), but when I got married, there was an opportunity to meet some of the relatives who were living in Tokyo area in Japan and they celebrated for our marriage.  and after I left Japan and started living in USA, I have been keeping in touch with them. Mainly,  my Aunts ( Aunt Takako and Aunt Miyoko ) have been writing to me. Both of them have no blood connection with me because they are my parent's brothers wives.   But I don't know why, I feel comfortable talking with them. Aunt Miyok

Wonderful Japanese Gift from my relatives

So happy !!! My Japanese relatives, aunt Takako and uncle Eimei sent us a gift again , and received it yesterday ! They are my mother's younger brother and his wife and my closest relatives. They have been really nice to me since I was a little girl. I can not say enough to thank them for so many things they did to me and my family in my life. These are Organic Mochi ( rice cakes ) , it's kind of like a sticky rice. A rice cake is made by pounding steamed rice into a cake.  I was telling my husband that I really want to eat Mochi around new year holidays because I haven't eaten Mochi since I moved to the USA,  but Asian super market  here are not selling Mochi. So I was thinking about purchasing it in amazon store.     Also the seaweed called "Nori " , and ground sesame which I eat almost everyday. So, I'm so so happy and grateful to receive their gift ! They don't know about my wish to eat Mochi, so I felt like it's

Unique Japanese Gift from my relatives

My Japanese relatives, aunt Takako and uncle Eimei sent me a gift recently ! There were two items with aunt Takako's hand written message letter in the box, when I opened it.   Hand written letters always make me feel warm.  Since last year, I stopped doing hand writing letters and started using digital writing by computer when I sent messages to my relatives who live in Japan. It looked cold, but it's convenient when I made an error, I can easy to edit it and fix it. But from now on, I want to hand write it by myself again. One of their gifts to me is Miso soup . Very creative and unique.  I've never seen this kind of miso soup. Another one is a special stamp book which is the image of beautiful Mr.Fuji, which is limited quantities. I love both of their gift items but what made me delighted even more may be their sweet consideration to me. Taking an action for choosing the item, imagining what I may like. It's from love, action fr
