We received another gift from my other relatives from Japan last month.
These are several kinds of Japanese crackers ( called Osenbei in Japanese ), cookies , Japanese Seaweed ( Nori ), good quality soy sauce.
Thank you very much to Uncle Sakae and Aunt Miyoko!
I love all of them!
They are my father's related Uncle and Aunt who are my father's youngest brother and his wife.
I rarely met my father's relatives since my father passed away (when I was 14 years old ), but when I got married, there was an opportunity to meet some of the relatives who were living in Tokyo area in Japan and they celebrated for our marriage.
and after I left Japan and started living in USA, I have been keeping in touch with them.
Mainly, my Aunts ( Aunt Takako and Aunt Miyoko ) have been writing to me.
Both of them have no blood connection with me because they are my parent's brothers wives.
But I don't know why, I feel comfortable talking with them.
Aunt Miyoko is only 12 years older than me, so she may be my youngest Aunt.
I'm very grateful to be able to keep communicating with them for a long time.
