I’m very excited, figure skating GPS assignments has just published yesterday ! Johnny will skate in Cup of Russia and NHK , maybe that what he requested ? I’m very happy, he got what he wanted ! I’m also excited to see Sasha Cohen , Evgeny Plushenko, Daisuke Takahashi and also Shen/Zhao will be back ! I was away from pair skating since Tatiana Totyama / Marin retired and Shen/Zhao haven’t competed. Because after them, I felt bored and thought it all became like technical part, and no artistry. Only one Russian pair looked good, but still unpolished. I loved those two pairs T/M and S/Z. For ladies, Sasha Cohen was my top favorite ladies skaters, because of her exquisite skating plus, her musicality , well balanced movements, I especially loved her passionate, powerful SP more than lyrical style of music. Yesterday, I made one of our favorite pastas for lunch. The taste is more like Japanese taste because of the sauce. It’s very yummy. Ray ate it within a few minutes as usual. Pastas and noodles are always his number one favorite meals. Ingredients 1. Davinci brand Linguine ( made in Italy) 2. Japanese cabbage ( Hakusai in Japanese) 3. Green asparagus 4. Beans Sprout ( Moyashi in Japanese ) 5. Pork ham 6. Vegetable oil Sauce 1. Mirin - ¼ cup 2. Cooking sake - 1/8 cup 3. Soy sauce - ¼ cup 4. Sesami oil - one or two table spoons 5. Chili hot bean sauce - one tea spoon The point is the pasta. I have tried some pastas which were made in the USA, but I found Italian pastas are more delicious and it was so different, so I don’t use American pasta anymore. After boiling the pasta ( until becomes not too soft but not too hard ), stir pork ham, then all the other ingredients in a frying pan. Then mix the pasta with those ingredients in the frying pan. Since I got to watch Johnny’s Poker Face program, it blew me away and didn’t have time to watch any other performances for a while , but finally I could watch his other program “ You impressed me “ by Korean singer recently. OMG, this performance is breathtaking, very dramatic , beautiful romantic story and I even got tears while watching. I of course have no idea what the singer was saying in the song, but Johnny’s emotional performance plus the music and the singer’s singing voice hit my heart. I suppose Johnny is knowing the meaning of the song. There are two video which are from different angles and one of the video was more of showing whole the performance rather than close up to his movements. But from the far away, how he was moving , his pantomime in the beginning of the program, I could feel his emotion, every detail of his movements . It’s very imaginative, and I almost forgot he was on ice, the background became different world. The story looks sad ending
