Figure skating Next season, Grand Prix series assignments

I’m very excited, figure skating GPS assignments has just published yesterday !

Johnny will skate in Cup of Russia and NHK, maybe that what he requested ?

I’m very happy, he got what he wanted !

I’m also excited to see Sasha Cohen , Evgeny Plushenko, Daisuke Takahashi and also Shen/Zhao will be back !

I was away from pair skating since Tatiana Totyama / Marin retired and Shen/Zhao haven’t competed. Because after them, I felt bored and thought it all became like technical part, and no artistry. Only one Russian pair looked good, but still unpolished.
I loved those two pairs T/M and S/Z.

For ladies, Sasha Cohen was my top favorite ladies skaters, because of her exquisite skating plus, her musicality , well balanced movements, I especially loved her passionate, powerful SP more than lyrical style of music.

No matter the result, I will enjoy her skating.

For men,

It’s so exciting, Plushenko will be back !!

Figure skating needs charismatic star quality skaters who make big impact to audience, like Johnny and Plushenko, ( that’s in my case ), those two skaters were the ones I started jumping into watch men’s skating.

I wonder how Plushenko’s present condition is ?

Is he back to his form ?

Seems like he will skate with tango music. It’s also interesting to see how Plushenko will be scored under new COP. It changed since he left from competition, especially since last season.

Johnny will face him in COR, I can already imagine, the arena in COR will be full of excitement, Plushenko, a superstar in Russia, plus Johnny who have a lot of local fans there.

For other contenders, Patrik Chan, and Takahiko Kozuka who were rated well under new COP last season , and also Brandon Mroz.

I see they are all medal contenders.

In NHK,

Daisuke Takahashi will be back, he also is a star in men’s skating world in Japan, plus Takahiko Kozuka, among foreign skaters, Johnny is very popular in Japan, so I’m expecting he will get full support again same as last season.

There are also Brian Joubert, Jeremy Abbott, Adam Rippon in NHK.

Hope Johnny will kick ass !

In Olympics , he will face all the top skaters, so facing with tough competitions in GPS is actually good for him.

Under new COP, Skating clean doesn’t mean it always scores high, seeing result of last season, so it’s hard to predict.

But I still believe skating clean is always the point.

Looks like Johnny’s Pop star on ice film is selling well.

But it won’t show around my area, even Sundance cable TV, our area of cable doesn’t have Sundance channel.

So I just have to wait the DVD will be coming.
So far, he is getting good reviews for the film, even non fans were leaving good comments about it.

I enjoyed his Trailer clips, hope I can watch the whole film as soon as possible.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it.
