In their official website on September 2nd' 2021, Abba announced that they have  released new songs for the first time in 40 years, and that music videos for the new songs  "I Still Have Faith in You" , and " Don't Shut Me Down " are now available,   and all members have announced that they will resume their activities. Wow!  We are very happy to hear this news !   ABBA - Don't Shut Me Down (Lyric Video)      I Still Have Faith In You       In addition, the New album "Voyage" containing all new songs including these two songs will be released in November, 2021 and then in May next year ( 2022 ) , a concert will be held in London, England, which expresses the past and present performance scenes of ABBA by making full use of stereoscopic images.  My husband and I both love the song " Don't Shut Me Down " and already listened to it many times.  It sounds just like they did back in the 70's.  It would fit just fine if y

Fun Music- The Offspring 's New album " Let the bad times roll "

Recently, my husband and I have been enjoying listening to the punk rock music band " The offspring" 's new album " Let the bad times roll " which was just released on April 16' 2021.        Their music is an interesting collage of punk mixed with other styles of music, sometimes mixed with hard rock and metal.   https://www.top-charts.com/r/let-the-bad-times-roll-the-offspring      This album is awesome !    I'm so happy to find great new music.    " Let the bad times roll " is my favorite song so far but I love all the songs in this album.        This next one is a mixture of Classical music ( "Grieg" ) arranged in a punk rock style.  " In The Hall of the Mountain King " is creative and interesting.          " Behind Your Walls"        "Army of One"    I haven't listened to popular music since a long time ago so I didn't know what kind of songs are popular now.    Maybe after Lady Ga Ga&

Snowman

Today,  I would like to write about my new favorite performers since 2020.  Entertainment * Daisuke Sakuma (Snowman)                Snowman Snowman -  ( from the left - Hikaru Iwamoto, Daisuke Sakuma, Ryota Miyadate, Koji Mukai, Shota Watanabe, Raul, Tatsuya Fukazawa, Ren Meguro, Rhohei Abe, )   I became a fan of this Japanese idol group " Snowman " since last January ( 2020 ).  Snow Man is a nine-member male idol group who belong to Johnny & Associates ( a Japanese talent agency formed by Johnny Kitagawa in 1962, which trains and promotes groups of male entertainers known as Johnny's ).  The group was a former Johnny's Jr. unit and debuted on January 22, 2020.  They specialize in acrobatics and dancing.  In January '2020, my husband and I were watching Japanese TV's music station program, and saw the new debuted Idol men's group "Snowman" on TV.  and I was very impressed with one of the members 's performance with the song "

Best of Freddie Mercury's Quotes

I found it's very interesting to read Freddie Mercury's quotes. I think many of his quotes are unique and often quite hilarious as well, I can picture how he talked with humor. Also it's nice to know that Freddie surely knew the law of the universe and how it works.  This is the impression I get from reading some of his quotes.  And I really understand why he became a huge star and was successful in his career and got what he wanted in his life. Many people, including me, felt it's sad he passed away at such an early age, 45,  however in several quotes he actually said he did not want to live to be old.   and I've read that he said he did everything he wanted in his life before he passed away. I feel he was an incredibly strong person mentally. I wish that some of his actual quotes were used in the biopic movie about him - Bohemian Rhapsody.   Here are my favorite Freddie Mercury's quotes. " I'm a man of extremes, you know, I

My review - Biopic Queen Movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" about Freddie Mercury

We went to see the movie " Bohemian Rhapsody " about the rock band Queen on November 3rd ! We were both really excited to see it since we watched many previews of the movie because the previews looked great.   and we booked the seats a few days ago. It's country side of USA here, so there were not many people in the theater on a Saturday afternoon, 2pm.  so we were feeling comfortable to watch it in not so busy place.                                Freddie Mercury in early 1970s Our review My husband and I are big fans of Queen and we really wanted to love this movie after seeing the previews and seeing all the actors' interviews about it.  It was really interesting to know how they were preparing to make the movie. We could see the actors all really worked hard to make this movie.   Pro - *  The actress Lucy Boynton who played Mary who was Freddie Mercury's girldfriend, her acting was great.   *  Rami Malek put in a lot of effort to try

Song " I've never been to me "

" I've never been to me " by charlene  This is one of my favorite songs.  I knew this song when I was a child, maybe on TV in Japan, and I was very impressed since when I first time heard that song .  and then later in 1986, I saw a commercial which has the song as a background music on TV .  I didn’t know anything about English language at that time but the melody of the song really touched my heart.  My older brother was also with me watching the commercial and I remember he said he always love that song since the first time heard it.  But, even though I know that song, I didn't know the title of the song.  and I didn't try to find the title of the song and the singer and composer until recently.  Because it was hard to find it without knowing the title and the singer.  I tried to sing the melody to my husband , but he didn't recognize it.  But somehow, when I was searching different 1970s music to make our favorite oldies
