Figure skating 2013 -2014 season has already come up since last month !  Nebelhorn Trophy 2013 was just about a week ago.  In that competition, I was interested in Jason Brown and Nobunari Oda for men, and Miki Ando for ladies events. Today, I would like to talk about Miki Ando who has just won her second world’s gold medal on April 30 2011. This news made me and my husband so happy ! Since last Olympics ( Vancouver Olympics ), we hadn’t been following skating competitions like before, mainly because we are just not crazy for the COP system, and so we were only checking the results of each event. Miki Ando’s victory was very impressive to me and I have been inspired by her strength this whole season. She won everything except GPF, and had a very successful season. According to Johnny, he has been receiving alarming amount of hateful threatening letters through his myspace. He had opened it as a way to be closer to his fans and friends about a year and a half ago. It’s also hard to continue in his limited time to personally log on to MySpace so he decided to close his myspace. It’s so sad and a shame to hear about it. I joined my myspace because Johnny started it. I’m trying not to get angry for people who has been bothering him, sending such a threatening letters. In internet, people can be mean when they have no responsibility for their ID. So many idiots get behind a computer screen and get brave and think it's funny to threaten and insult people. I don’t know what kind of threaten messages he has been receiving. But it’s a crime. I wonder if he told Police about it with all those proof of threats he received ? Ray and I were watching NHK Trophy on ESPN broadcast yesterday. Although we already knew the result. It was interesting that they showed Daisuke and Miki and also Shizuka Arakawa ’s small fluff pieces. Daisuke was saying something like that “ people says my footwork is cool. But I learned it by watching and moves. I think it’s cool .” Ha ha , yes, his footwork is cool, but all his movements are cool, too. Miki was saying something like that  “ I became world Champion last season, but I changed nothing but people changed. I can not even go out without sunglasses. I’m just Miki Ando. I love my life. “ It was cute. Miki and Mao sounds very popular like idol singers or actresses in Japan, so those two may need guards whenever they go out.
