I became 60 last Monday ! I can't believe I've lived 60 years ! Feeling like time flies unbelievably fast. Especially after reaching to 50, it's getting faster and faster. I feel like year 2000 is about a year ago,  90s is a few years ago, but it already past over 20, 30 years since then. About birthday, When I was younger , I was thinking that birthday is the day for celebrating my birth, and it's for myself.   But one day, I realized that in that day I was born,  my mother worked hard to give birth to me while feeling pain. My mother gave birth to me by caesarean section because she had a narrow pelvis.  I saw her cesarean scar when we took a bath together when I was a little kid. My dad also worked hard to earn money and took care of me with love. Since then I realized that  birthday is the day to gratitude to my parents. My birthday was coming again. But I already received my birthday gifts a few days ago. We are always like that for our birthdays, and also in Christmas days and Valentines days. We felt like it’s better to request gifts of what we really want . So, because of that, no surprise gifts since a long time ago. Every year, when Ray asks me what do you want for your birthday ? Always what comes my mind first is  “ books “ . This year also, I’m so happy to receive books which are very valuable to me and which I feel like priceless and want to read them forever.  Every trip  I will also always bring them with me  or one of them.    I’m a super book lover, and always dream to have a library room in our dream home. Yesterday ( July 17 ) was my 45 years birthday.  Usually, I’m not so a big fan of doing something special for my birthday, same as other holidays and national holidays. But suddenly I really felt wanting to eat sushi or chirashi sushi yesterday and Ray found a great Japanese restaurant for me and made a reservation for our dinner. Before we took action, we are already careful to choose things to avoid to get disappointed later, and we started checking reviews of all Tucson Japanese restaurants. And we went to one of the best reviewed restaurant “ Sushi on Oracle “ , because it’s the nearest place from our home. It’s a small Japanese restaurant, but the food was much more delicious than I expected.  Surely it was the most delicious Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been in the U.S.A. The staff there ( Sushi on Oracle ) were friendly and polite. We ordered egg roll , a gedashi Tofu , as appetizer, and for main dishes, Chirashi sushi for me, and Teriyaki beef for Ray. Ray drink
