"  I didn't understand the meaning of " knowing who am I " the first time I read a spiritual book which talked about it, about 20 years ago.  I had never even thought about it until I had an opportunity to read a new age book.  My first new age book I read was "The Celestine Prophecy: An Adventure " by James Redfield .  I was around 32 years old at that time, working for a telephone company.  The book was strongly recommended by one of my co-workers.  I was not familiar with new age information at that time, so I didn't really understand the meaning
