Our LA Short Trip

My Japanese passportā€˜s expire date was in February , so we had a road trip to LA on January 30, 31 because the General of Japan Consulate where I can renew my passport is located in only Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, New York etc.. and the closest place from my place is Los Angeles . We wanted to have sightseeing if we had one or two extra days but Rayā€™s work was very busy this season and he could only get two days off. So, there was no time for sightseeing in our LA trip, such as seeing all the Theme parks, and we went there just go get my new passport in a very limited time. Normally, it takes a week to get the new passport but for people who are from other states, they can specially make it faster within 1 to 2 days. Our plan was arriving at General of Japan Consulate around 3:00pm, And apply for the passport renewal. Then pick up the new passport in the next dayā€™s afternoon, after 3:00pm. The estimated driving time from our place to LA downtown is about 7 to 8 ...

Mystery of Chopinā€™s love

After watching the movie ā€œ Desire for Love ā€œ about Chopin several times, I started searching more about Chopinā€™s life to solve some mystery parts, even though it may be impossible to find what is the real truth.  This movie ( Desire for Love ) is so thinkable, and while checking about both Chopin and George Sand ā€˜s bio, Iā€™m also into George Sand and her life story.  I would never have known about her or cared about her if I didnā€™t get into Chopinā€™s bio so much. But without knowing about her, we can not know the truth.   Chopin & Liszt are the most interesting heroes for me right now .  I donā€™t know why, but if genius is the only reason Iā€™m into them, then there are many different kinds of geniuses in many different subjects , so it must not be the only the reason.  Itā€™s very curious , there are several speculations about Chopinā€™s love, some information tells like as if itā€™s the fact that for Chopin, George Sand was always his love of his life, w...

My Review - Movie - ā€œ Desire for Love " about Chopin

We have been curious to see the movie ā€œ Desire for Loveā€œ about Chopin and finally we watched it last weekend. This story is about the relationship between Frederic Chopin and George Sand and her children. The title ā€œ Desire for love ā€œ exactly fits with the story. This is not a full bio about Chopinā€™s life and his music, ( although the soundtrack is absolutely awesome, with masterful performances of Chopinā€™s music by top pianists ), but mainly focuses on Chopinā€™s life after he met George Sand and their relationship. But Ray and I both actually really enjoyed it and watched it three times already. Itā€™s impossible to show all the details of Chopinā€™s life, and even his relationship with George Sand within 2 hours. For casting, we both thought all the casts they used for this movie was good with great acting, except for Franz Liszt. And this is my only Con for this movie is that the actor they used to play Franz Liszt did not fit him at all. IMO, his image doesnā€™t fit with...
