" I've never been to me " by charlene  This is one of my favorite songs.  I knew this song when I was a child, maybe on TV in Japan, and I was very impressed since when I first time heard that song .  and then later in 1986, I saw a commercial which has the song as a background music on TV .  I didn’t know anything about English language at that time but the melody of the song really touched my heart.  My older brother was also with me watching the commercial and I remember he said he always love that song since the first time heard it.  But, even though I know that song, I didn't know the title of the song.  and I didn't try to find the title of the song and the singer and composer until recently.  Because it was hard to find it without knowing the title and the singer.  I tried to sing the melody to my husband , but he didn't recognize it.  But somehow, when I was searching different 1970s music to ma...

  July 17  was my Birthday and I became 54 !    I can't believe it!  I feel like time flies faster and faster every year,  and I wonder why ? I did not feel time flies so fast when I was teens.    When I was young, my image of  the age 54 was ancient and I never imagined I became that age.   and when I became that age, it's nothing special, just getting older. That's all.  I remember when my grandmother and my mother were that age.  and I realized that everybody is aging like that and repeating.  Fortunately , I'm still healthy.  But I did notice that when I accidentally fell down on the floor, my body was not the same as when I was younger anymore. I usually get up around 11 am, so my first meal in a day is always brunch.  and lately I'm really into eating Fruits. I rarely had not eaten much fruits since when I was young even though I love fruits,  because I preferred to eat normal meal, and after the meal I was already feeling full and no space for fruits or deserts for my stomach. In tea time ( coffee break time ), I often ate snacks , rather than fruits. So my mother often had told me to eat more fruits.   Lately, I happened to find an article about a Fruitarian who has been eating only fruits for 7 years and 8 months, and has been very healthy so far. I do not think I will be a Fruitarian but I decided to eat fruits since then, and I noticed that eating a lot of Fruits makes my body healthier. I often got the feeling of sleepy when I was eating rice, noodles, potatoes for breakfast or brunch. But I noticed that eating fruits doesn't make me sleepy feeling and get more energy. We went to a mini golf center recently !   It was my first time to play mini golf. I had never been interested in golf in my life, I don't know why. But lately, we were discussing about horseshoe game, since we saw people were playing with it and I was wondering about it. and that discussion about it turned to mini golf. My husband had played it about 20 years ago and he said it was fun.   I only heard about normal golf, so I was curious about Mini golf.   In the Mini golf center, there are also some other attractions such as go-carts, Lazer Tag, Bumper boat, Batting cages, Arcade( game center). So besides Mini golf, we rode go-carts, and played with two games.   It was a very beautiful day and felt so comfortable !   We went to one of the Tourist places in Tucson called " Tucson Old Town (Western Village )    last month.   This place was used in many movies and TV drama such as Clint Eastwood's Western cowboy movies ,  and also Little house on the prairie. I was curious to see it since I knew about it because Little house on the prairie is one of my favorite dramas. Also I love to see places that are like time slips. It was so much fun ! There was a Western cowboy show and we watched it. We were lucky to wear hats there because it was so sunny while watching the show. I remember this kind of building was in the little house on the prairie. Every 30 minutes, there were different types of shows such as dance show, etc.. besides cowboy show. But we preferred to walk around the place seeing many buildings so we only watched Cowboy show until the end.  ...
