I was shocked to see the result showed He Kexin and Nastia’s was a tiebreaker but gold medal went to He Kexin.

Immediately I started thinking about Johnny’s situation at last US Nationals’s tie breaker. And wonder how Johnny is feeing seeing this result.

Nastia looked frustrated and disappointed after knowing this result. It’s a tie , why they don’t make a rule to give two gold medals to both of them for tie ?

However, seeing all the gymnasts performances, what I thought was they should not give Nastia and He Kexin same scores, because I thought He Kexin’s was doing more difficult movements, twisted her body backwards after doing sault etc.. and her deductions were only her landing , she stepped sideways and also in the transition from lower bar to higher bar, so I think her A-score should be higher than Nastia and B score should be lower than her.

I really wanted Nastia to win but I thought her legs were separated in one or two parts. For other parts she was excellent including landing. With her height , she was doing excellent and it may be more difficult to make that body position for her than someone who has smaller body. However, her difficulty level looked more simple than He Kexin.

I thought Yang Yling’s B- score should be higher than Nastia, because I thought she was perfect with no leg separation. For difficulty He Kexin did the most, IMO.

So for this one, what I thought was

1. Yang Yling
2. He Kexin
3. Nastia Liukin

Or a tie between Kexin and Yling.

Tie breaker but only one athlete can get gold medal and will be in the record in history is frustrated for the athletes who had to receive silver .

I’m sure Johnny really understand this situation, how frustrated for Nastia.
Johnny didn’t even show his frustration in public and made good sportsmanship and his coach Galina also accepted the result and her motivation to Johnny was great.

This result made me really complicated feeling , but at the end,although I really wanted Nastia to win, I think Nastia benefited for this result , scored as tie with the highest.

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar.
