Figure skating Grand Prix Competition Cup of China was held this weekend .
I was so nervous to see the result of men's COP because there was Johnny and there were also his tough competitors Stephane Lambiel ( from Switzerland ) and Evan Lysacek ( U.S.A.) .
My husband Ray and I have been bad impression for Lysacek since last season because his arrogant behavior against Johnny often bothers us. So we really hoped if Johnny could beat him in the COP this season.
As a result ,
At Short program,
1. Evan Lysacek Total : 81.55 TES: 44.90 PCS: 36.65
2. Johnny Weir Total : 79.80 TES:44.00 PCS: 35.80
3. Stephane Lambiel Total : 70.20 TES : 34.00 PCS: 37.20
At Free program,
1. Johnny Weir Total : 151.98 TES: 76.38 PCS: 75.60
2. Evan Lysacek Total : 147.81 TES: 74.71 PCS: 74.10
3. Stephane Lambiel Total : 122.02 TES : 53.22 PCS: 71.80
Overall
1. Johnny : 231.78
2. Evan : 229.36
3. Stephane : 192.22
Johnny won !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went crazy when I heard Johnny won it !!
I'm SOOOOOOOOO happy !!!!!!
How nice to see his pure happy smiling face !!!!!!
Actually I thought this is a very tough competition for Johnny but he did excellent job without any mistakes !!!
He really showed us Super high quality performance !!!!!!
I watched only Johnny's both performance , SP and FP on YouTube and haven't seen other skaters performance yet .
But seeing the result in the PDF file, Stephane seems like fell three times from two of quad jumps and also one triple jump during FP , and no 3A.
Also in his SP, he also fell from his quad, and no 3A, only 2A and one triple jump in it.
I like Stephane Lambiel and his skating. He is my second favorite skater and is in my top skater's list.
I never imagined he got this kind of result because he was always doing good in his FP even though he was disaster at SP.
But my mind was alrealy full of happiness from Johnny's wins, so didn't think about sorry for Stephane.
But I still think he is a lucky guy, because even though he was disaster at both programs, he still received bronze medal.
I think Stephane has a pure innocent mind. It's hard to dislike this kind of person.
Evan Lysacek seems like he touched down from his quad in his SP, and earned 44.90 at technical score, and was in the first place at SP.
But many people were suspicious for his score especially for his compornent score. Maybe overrated.
Evan's compornent can not be higher than Johnny's excellent performance. Evan is a sport person, not an artist like Johnny.
But first, I must watch his performance , then I will judge it.
The broadcast will show it up this weekend.
