My top 10 funniest movies which made me laugh like crazy

Laughing lifts our spirits and improves our moods, and relieves stress.

It has been said laughter is the best medicine, plus it can also help improve our life as well.

I think making people laugh so hard is actually a difficult skill. More than the words themselves, people laugh from one’s expression, how they tell the story, how they act naturally while telling the story.
I‘m more like easy to laugh at any kind of thing which is more natural.
Because when I feel a person is trying to make me laugh, it often doesn’t work for me. Laughing taste may be different depending on the person.

Which films made you laugh from the bottom of your heart ?

Here are my top 10 funniest films,

1. Money pit

This is an old movie (1986) but it’s still unbeatable. Not only I couldn’t stop laughing but I got stomachaches, could not breathe from laughing too hard, and rolling on the floor with laughter.

There are so many funny scenes in this movie. One of the funniest scenes was where Tom Hanks got stuck in the carpet under the floor,
(Money Pit Floor scene) only his face was still showing above the floor, and he couldn’t move at all.

His expression was priceless. There are more funny scenes.

Like in the kitchen, while he was waiting for the turkey and other foods baking in the oven, suddenly there was an electric spark,

so he starts looking to find the source of the issue, but as he’s checking, the electric short circuit just keeps getting worse and worse and he ends up blowing up the whole kitchen,

and the turkey which was in the oven at the time, goes flying out the window from the explosion and ends up flying into the bathroom where his wife was , and the turkey flies into a baket there !!!

2. Bruce almighty ( Jim Carey, Jennifer Aniston, Morgan Freeman, Steve Carrey )

This story is one of my favorites. The funniest scene was when Jim Carey used his magic power against his rival, a news announcer played by Steve Carrey, who had taken his position as main newsman, and Jim Carey changed Steve’s voice and talking by using his magic, and the way Steve talked made me laugh like a crazy.

Also, the scene when Jim Carey first realizes he has god like powers, and is in a restaurant eating tomato soup, he starts testing his powers and he makes his bowl of tomato soup part in the middle with waves on either side, like a miniature version of the movie “ The Ten Commandments “. This scene cracked me up so hard.

There’s another scene where he imitates Clint Eastwood’s facial expressions, it’s pretty hilarious as well.

3. Funny farm ( Chevy Chase )

This movie also has many funny scenes . After a happy couple moves to a new place, everything seems to be going from worse to worse. And the way how they made the movie and the actors expressions were so funny.

Such as the part where the movers who were moving all the couple’s stuff , get lost for a whole day and get stuck with their truck on an old rickety bridge, in the middle of nowhere .The bridge ends up falling apart while the movers barely escape with their lives.

Another scene while the husband was peacefully typing his book in the second floor of the house, next to the window , the camera pans out so you can see out the window, and you see his wife who was gardening, starts getting chased around a tree by a bumblebee, batting her arms like crazy to escape the bumblebee, then the camera pans back to Chevy Chase‘s face, peacefully writing, blissfully unaware of what’s going on outside. So many funny scenes.

4. Duplex ( Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymore )

This movie also has many hilarious scenes. Like the one where Ben Stiller tries to be nice by taking his neighbor, an elderly lady, out shopping and for medicine supplies.

Ben ends up getting annoyed as hell because the old lady turns out to be a real pain in the @/&% .

She’s counting her medicine that she orders at the pharmacy, slowly, pill by pill, then she loses count, and starts counting all over again, while Ben tries to be patient waiting, the look of frustration and utter irritation on his face just absolutely hilarious.

Then when they arrive at the supermarket, the old lady sees a huge pile of grapes, and she starts counting again, counting the number of grapes that she wants, the same way, slowly, as with the pills. , and Ben’s irritation reached his limit and finally, Ben is so irritated that he grabs the plastic bag from her and starts doing it himself, grabbing bunches of grapes as fast as he can to put in the cart.

But when he finishes with the grapes, she finds another food item she wants to count
and exclaims

“ Oh, Blueberries ! “.

The camera then goes back to a close up of Ben with a completely dejected look on his face. This scene totally cracked me up.

There are many more.

5. Las Vegas Vacation ( Chevy Chase )

This movie made me laugh from the very beginning, the husband’s blissfully unaware and ridiculous driving which made other cars have accidents or troubles while he didn’t notice anything because he is too happy to think about the vacation he just got and he’s singing.

This movie just gets funnier from there and doesn’t let up.

6. Envy ( Ben Stiller and Jack Black )

This is another one of my favorite stories. Ben Stiller’s acting and his expression cracked me up !

In the beginning, Ben Stiller is in a good position in the car tire company and above Jack Black in the company and he starts teaching Jack Black that if he want to have better life, and get better position in the company same as him, he had better to “focus” better and he lets Jack Black sit in his more comfortable chair in his comfortable office which is higher quality than Jack Black’s. office and chair.

Jack Black starts sleeping while hearing Ben Stiller’s lecture and only hears the one word “ focus “ and he suddenly stands up and says “ Right, focus is the word ! “ and he starts focusing.

But his focus is on much bigger dreams than Ben Stillers comfortable chair and office. No, that‘s not enough, Jack focuses to be a multi-millionaire. Soon, things change , and with the help of a scientist friend, Jack discovers a hilarious way to make dog poo disappear.

A doggie poo spray, and he gets huge success marketing this product, starts living in a huge dream house ( right across the street from Ben Stiller‘s small house ), buys a bright yellow Lamborghini Diablo, gets a white horse, and Ben Stiller’s facial expression everyday when he looks out the window to see Jack’s latest outrageous buying sprees and purchases, is so hilarious.

He has to see his neighbor Jack Black’s family’s wealthy life every day .

One of the funniest scenes was when Ben Stiller and a guy who he meets in a bar while drinking and carrying on about his unsuccessful life, end up accidentally killing Jack’s beloved horse and having to carry the dead horse on top of their car to try and hide it somewhere ( it’s a long story, and I won’t go into this part here, but it’s funny when you see it ).

In the end, all’s well that ends well and both Jack and Ben get huge success. I do really love this kind of success story.

7. Young Frankenstein ( Gene Wilder, Teri Garr)

Director Mel Brooks made several funny movies, and this is one of them. It’s a spoof on the old Frankenstein story, and it’s absolutely side splitting hilarious, from beginning to end.

It’s also very well made, the setting, the castle, and everything is genuinely spooky. And the funny situations the actors find themselves in, and the humor, never stops. You have to see it, and expect to get stomachache from laughing so hard.

8. Shallow Hal ( Jack Black, Gwyneth Paltrow )

I love this story. After a psychologist / hypnotist ( played by Anthony Robbins ) hypnotizes Jack Black, his taste in women changes to opposite of his former self.

Originally, he was so picky and only likes beautiful women, but he sees everything opposite now and all the ugly women he now perceives as gorgeous.

From that point, he gets into all kinds of funny situations, especially after the hypnotism spell wears out.

9. The Terminal ( Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones )

Tom Hanks challenged to act as a Eastern European guy from a very small country who went to the New York, USA, and was stuck at the airport for 8 months, because he didn‘t have the proper visa to leave the airport.

And there are several scenes which made me laugh so hard while he was staying at the airport and handling many situations, and eventually finding and making many opportunities, and romance, and the best out of the situation.
An amazing actor.

10. Pop star on ice ( documentary of Johnny Weir’s skating life)

This is not a comedy story, but there are several scenes which made me laugh because of Johnny’s sense of humor and his natural expressions.

As I’ve been a fan of Johnny and seeing his career since 2006 Torino Olympics, and I was seriously heartbroken to see many of the results and scores he received and what happened, but in this film, the directors made it very well and some parts had a lot of humor including Johnny’s reaction and expression, etc.. in some parts were so funny.

TV series “Be good Johnny Weir “ is even more funny, especially Johnny as the Russian reporter.

There must be many funny movies which I’ve never seen, but these are the movies which cracked me up the best so far.

I found three of them are similar stories, a young marriage couple moved to a new place and having trouble after that. But they are all too funny in a different way.

Actually, trouble itself is nothing funny, but the way how they express and react to the trouble can be so funny.

It’s good if we don’t take trouble so seriously and could make humor with laugh, things may go well after the trouble, because laughing can change our moods and can boost our spirits up.

Nowadays, it's hard to find places where there is beautiful clean air. and in this unfavorable environment, he is suggesting how to live healthy.   Health tips 1.  Clear Oxygen  According to Bashar,  the air after storms and typhoons have gone away, is the most clean ( purified ) and is good for our bodies. However when there is an overdose of artificial oxygen by using tools such as oxygen tanks , this can cause a lack of water, and will weaken cells. ...

There is no photo of her, but seeing her painting in other websites, she looks in her 30’s when she was 85. Franz Liszt’s dangerous love

Franz Liszt was quite tall in his generation, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall , long blonde hair , piercing sharp eyes, pianist' long narrow and delicate hands and fingers. His body build was very slender. People who knew him described his personality as full of charm, charisma, and very knowledgeable.  And he loved brainy women. He was the consummate artist. It seems that Liszt loved dangerous love , which thrilled him and gave him excitement rather than a stable, peaceful , safe love. Franz Liszt While reading about his biography, I was wondering why he fell in love with two princesses who were already married. Marie D’Agoult He seems to have had a lot of love affairs in his life, someone found out that he had at least 26 serious relationships in his life ( besides countless other affairs ) but the only ladies he thought about marriage was with these two princesses , Marie D’Agoult and Carolyne Sayn Wittgenstein ? Charlotte Von Hagn ...

Franz Liszt and Frederic Chopin’s friendship Part 1

Frederyk Chopin   I’m a long time fan of Chopin’s music since when I was a teenager. Started loving his music from hearing his Polonaise , then Noctunes , Etudes … Frederyk Chopin I was using one of Chopin’s Nocturnes as my background music for my answering machine when I was in my 20s. In Japan, many of his music is famous and used in many TV dramas, commercials, movies, and mostly wealthy bourgeois family scenes. My image of many of Chopin ’s music that I’ve listened to is of a cozy, bourgeois world. From almost all his music I’ve ever heard, I often pictured an elegant, wealthy family’s world or a story about a family who are living in a luxury antique style house. Many of Mozart ’s music reminds me of a social life in an older generation, a story about bourgeois world in a gorgeous luxury palace. For Liszt ’s music, his music is very variety, ranging from an image of a sweet passionate love story for couples, all the way to nightmare horror story type o...

My favorite ways of Law of Attraction Part 3 - Successful Wishing - Pierre Franckh

I love the way how he writes , it’s very easy to read and direct to the point, very clear how to do it with step by step instruction. Also importance of finding what you truly want.    Many people are actually not realizing what they really want and then when they get what they wanted,  still not feeling satisfied. Pierre said that before making your wishes and order to universe, it’s important to clear ...

Organic foods and healthy living “ You are what you eat ? “

We‘ve been enjoying organic foods since a month ago.   Because we care for our health and also organic foods taste more delicious than normal vegetables.   Recently, I really feel the famous quote  “ You are what you eat . “   is true.   Although healthy life comes from balance between mind, body, skin care, good night sleep and activities besides food life .   Health is a treasure.   Also I realized that “ good blood circulation ” is one of the most important key to keep healthy and look young skin.   After being amazed to see Styx’s ageless Tommy Shaw on TV, I started searching about “ secret of youth “.  He looks so much younger than his age.  Also, there was an interview with Styx on CNN in the morning about a week ago and they talked about what they think are the keys to longevity and a healthy life. http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/bestoftv/2012/04/23/ex...

”The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.” - Albert Einstein

Originally we were all creative because all children are creative. While growing up, many children lose their creativity by seeing, reading, hearing what many grown ups do and teach. According to a book called " Goal " by Brian Tracy, "Fully 95% of children tested between the ages of three and five are rated as highly creative. Of the same children tested again as teenagers, only about 5% rated  as highly creative. What happened to them in the interim ?   As they went through school, they were taught that if you want to get along, you follow the crowd. They learned not to question or challenge the teacher or to suggest unusual ideas. In their attempts to be liked and accepted by their peers, they allowed their creativity to die down, like a fire without fuel.  " "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once they grows up." - Pablo Picasso But if we don't use creativity, we lose it. It means that the more we use cre...

Charm of Kenichi Hagiwara - Shoken

From Japanese Movie " Ame no Amsterdam (Rain in Amsterdam)" I've been into the late 1960s to 1970s generation since several years ago. I don't know why but I'm very interested in older generation's people, trends, lifestyle, scenery, habit, TV drama, music, films, etc..   and not so interested in new things much.  There are many new discoveries through checking out old stuff while reading and watching it, which I didn't know before. and about several months ago, I happened to find a youtube video of  a famous Japanese actor called Kenichi Hagiwara who was my favorite actor in 1970s when I was a kid. His nickname is Shoken and he is also a singer of Rock/blues music.                      Shoken( 18 years old) singing ”Legend of Emerald” Shoken was one of the super stars in Japan mainly from the late 60s generation to early 80s. When he was 15 years old,   he joined an amateu...
