Amazing high music technology, but who has real music talent nowadays ?

Ray was showing me a music goods catalog last night.

I may be a little late to realize that there’s all this music high technology now, but it really amazed me there are so many kinds of software to help create many kinds of music nowadays. For example, Software with all the tools needed to create and publish quality scores !

Also , software for personal orchestra. One can get amazingly realistic orchestra sounds and textures. One can design a uniquely voiced string quartet or re-create the New York Philharmonic !

I love the sound of the piano , and there are virtual piano instruments and sound-design plug-in software. I’m not advertising these items here, but this makes me feel like even me, who has no idea how to create music, can create great music if I want to. But one may need at least some kind of arranging talent at using these tools, how to use the software, some creativity for melodies. And it still may be difficult for most people. It must be really fun to create music as a hobby. There are also “ Pitch -shifting and time- stretching plug in " software for singing. “ The aim of music is to picture the many various emotions of the soul. “ - Tchaikovsky On the other hand, while technology has developed and everything we do is getting easier and easier and more convenient, more practical, if there is no emotion in every note that we create, it can end up being just cold music, with no feeling or human quality to it. Until the19th century, when there were no recording tapes, all composers had to use their brain, to memorize every note, writing down on paper whenever they got an idea. I suppose because their brains were often used for memory, imagination , those generation’s people’s brains were sharper than nowadays. It may be fun to create my own music, these kinds of tools look very convenient and are interesting.

And for my dancing music, I’m fine with computer music. But as a listener, I prefer music which is not computer type music. But knowing this high technology, I wonder who has the real creative music genius nowadays ? From the feeling, we can get emotion from music. I trust my feeling when listening to music. I care about these things.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
