Chicken & Mushrooms Macaroni Gratin







One of the menus I often cook for dinner or sometimes for lunch is Chicken & mushrooms Macaroni Gratin.

Depending on my mood, sometimes I use rice instead of macaroni for only mine. So mine is rice gratin. 

My husband loves macaroni and pasta more than rice so our menu is not always the same.

And today I want to share the recipe for my macaroni gratin.
 


Chicken & mushrooms Macaroni Gratin  ( for 2 people )

Ingredients

* Macaroni - about 200g
* Chicken breast - about 300g
* Mushroom  - 200g
* Mix vegetable  ( or corn) - 100g
* Green beans  ( or green asparagus ) - 100g

* Butter – 1 table spoon
* White wine – 2 table spoons
* Powder Cheese  - a little

 ( White creamy sauce )

* Butter – 3 table spoons
* Flour – 4 table spoons
* Milk – 2 cups
* Chicken soup stock – 1 stock
* Salt &  Pepper -   a little
 
 
 

How to make it ?

1. Cut chicken and mushroom however you want. And sprinkle some salt & pepper around the chicken.

2. Boil green beans ( or green asparagus ).

3. Put butter ( or olive oil ) in a frying pan and heat it up.

4. Put chicken in the frying pan and stir it well.

5. Add mixed vegetables into the frying pan. 

6. Add mushroom and green beans into the frying pan and stir well with salt and pepper.

7. In a different  pan,  boil water, and put macaroni into the pan until it gets well boiled.

8. Next , make a creamy sauce.  Put butter into a pan and heat up until it melted. 

9. Then add flour into the pan and mix with it.

10. Add milk into the pan and mix with it. 

11. Melt Chicken soup stock with a little boiling water and put it into the pan.

12. add a little salt and pepper into the pan and stir it well until it gets creamy.

13. Then, put some butter around a gratin dish bowl and put some macaroni in it.

14. Put  “ stirred chicken & mushroom and vegetables “ over the macaroni.

15. Put some creamy sauce over the Macaroni  and  Chicken & mushroom in the bowl.

16. Sprinkle some powdered cheese over it and put it in an oven and heat up with 350 degrees temperature for about 15 minutes to 20 minutes. ( depending on your taste ) 

17. Done !
