I've never seen the Kentucky Derby, but excited to know Johnny and Tara will be back together working and they will be the fashion experts for it !
Johnny and Tara seem to have a lot of common interests , such as fashion, skating, horses and they sound like they are really match with each other.
Johnny has horseback equestrian racing experience when he was a child, until around 11 (?), and Tara also had experience horseback riding.
They are sure to be interested in watching the horse racing as well.

Here is Johnny & Tara's questions and answers about the Kentucky Derby.

Thank you to NBC !
Personal :
When I was in Japan, I have watched horse racing once when I was young and placed a small bet on which horse would win, and the horse didn't win but I remember it was fun watching it.
The image of horse racing ( unlike horse back riding ) is not good in Japan, it's seen as not much difference than gambling in a Casino.
But according to my husband , the image in the USA of the Kentucky Derby is that it's for rich people and it's not bad image here.
And it seems that one of the hot topics around it has to do with what people will wear, the Kentucky Derby fashion.
It's new discovery for me.
About horse back riding , this also I have tried only once when I was in Canada. It was one of English language school events, and the horse I rode was quite wild.
In the beginning was fine, but when a horse in front of me and the horse I was riding got a big distance, suddenly , the horse started running like crazy to catch up with the other horse,
and I got butt pain from all the bouncing from the horse's back, bouncing hard many times while the horse was running,
and it was hard to control the horse, but fortunately I did not fall to the ground but I saw one of the girls who was earlier, flying away and fell down on the earth hard.
It can be dangerous to try it without learning the technique to control a horse.
I haven't done it since then, but I'm glad for the experience, that as one of my funny memories.
