Johnny Weir's Pegasus hat won the Kentucky Derby !

Wow, it was so much fun watching the Kentucky Derby last weekend !

Our number one interest for this show was watching Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski 's appearance and their fashion.

This gorgeous hat reminds me of 18th century's aristocrat women's hat, like Marie Antoinette.

A pegasus is a great choice which matches with the Derby.
I love the color coordination of the pegasus, white pegasus with gold wings and the feathers.

Johnny looked gorgeous as well with matching white outfit.
The designer of his pegasus hat is Kerin Rose Gold. I suppose she will get a lot of customers in the future.

Johnny's name was trending in twitter on May 3.

Whatever Johnny does in public, he always delivers a huge impact, whether people love him or dislike him.

This scene was actually priceless, and made us laugh a lot because it was so cute and lovely.

We feel many adults should try it, skip like them when they are feeling good , or even when they are not, maybe it can remind them of when they were kids, and bring back a more playful spirit.

I realized that whenever I see his natural smiling face, it makes me feel great, and it shows naturally that I'm a big fan of him. I love his fashion in it, too.

4. Tara's white dress and pink dress and matching hats.

I think I have similar fashion taste as Tara. Dreamy.
I loved all her fashions in the Derby. She looked very pretty with all the outfits, including hats.

5. California Chrome won the race and I learned a little bit about this horse's story.

It was my first time watching the Kentucky Derby and I had no idea about horses in the race.

But it was interesting to know a behind the scenes story about the owners of the winning horse.

Originally, the owners had bought a horse called Love The Chase. This horse later became the mother of California Chrome.

And they had bought Love the Chase for only $8,000, unlike many other million $$$$ racing horses.

Prior to this race, some observers called the owners of California Chrome, the " Dumb Asses " for choosing such a " cheap " horse.
And the owners became known as the Dumb Ass Partners.
Seems like that horse has strong personality to get what he wants , California Chrome's nickname is " Rockstar ".

When Johnny and Tara visited with some of the horses at their stalls,
" Rockstar " playfully tried to grab Johnny's snack food he was carrying.

California Chrome " Rockstar " was Tara's pick to win.

She said she picked him because of his personality, and because he tried to " bite " Johnny, she teased.

I think she often looks happy.

It's great Johnny and Tara looks fun together, hopefully they will have their own reality show in the close future.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar.
