Super emotional Oldies music part 1 - "The End of the world " by Skeeter Davis

I really don't remember when and where I first heard this song
"The end of the world by Skeeter Davis" , but I surely knew this song.

While we were watching oldies music on TV, suddenly my old tapes came to my mind which were tapes that were recorded by my friend who was 10 years older than me, when I was around 22 years old.

Fortunately I was keeping the tape until now and soon I found it and the song we have been repeatedly listening to is that song.

When I checked about the song and the singer, it was a big hit in 1963 !

Which happens to be the year when we were born.

We feel this song is like an ocean of emotion, super touching.

There are other singers who also sang the song but we both felt the original singer Skeeter Davis 's singing has the deepest emotion and is very touching.

Honestly, I wasn't listening to the lyrics until recently, I was touched by the melody of this music, because I felt it's so beautiful.

and her singing was also very emotional so it was a huge impression music.

Never knew the lyrics are so sad, it's about a sad love song.

Music like this song and also Paul Mauriat's "Love is Blue " are really like an ocean of emotion, and very melancholy and super heart felt.

I think the composers of these melodies must be music geniuses.

Now, about the lyrics,

These lyrics sound extremely sad, like getting depression from lost love.

When people lost love with someone one really loves, but still the feeling is there with one of them, then one or both of them may get broken heart, and it may feel like the lyrics.

Only time will heal, time can be very sweet to everyone's heart.

and it's not the end of the world.

One can look at it like it's the beginning of the world, to get real happiness, and real love with someone who feels the same love.

The world does continue, whether one is happy in love or not.

Whether one is sad or happy, they don't care.

Because somehow they know it's not the end of the world.

But one has to be willing to meet one's right person who is match with you, which you can feel real happiness by just being with the person naturally, and just being yourself.

I think life is like a journey, and during the trip we meet many people, they tend to come and go , like in a train we get together with someone, but when we get off the train, the location may be different.

But more than getting to the destination, how we spend the time with each person in our life is more meaningful.

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
