I noticed that I haven't been updating the lists of my favorite things since 2006 when I started this blog. I can't believe it already past more than 9 years, almost 10 years since I started this blog ! I never imagined or thought about I would continue the blog so long at that time.  I just wanted to express my feelings of what I love, because it made me feel great. and I got many new favorites since 2006, so I think it's time to update it. Thinking and imaging about our favorite things improves our feeling and frequency level. Also I can know who I really  am through it.  These are mine,  what's yours ?   Happiness.     There is a famous quote which said     “ Happiness is within “ by …Martin Yan “  Happiness is a choice “ by Barry Kaufmann   I agree with these quotes.   I can be happy without doing anything, and getting happiness from my imagination.    And there is also happiness we can naturally feel when doing something we love. Surrounded by all my favorites makes me extremely happy.     One of them is listening to the beautiful sounds of music.    For this month so far, I’m crazy about another Frederic Chopin’s music again !      There are several new music I discovered from compositions which Chopin created when he was a teenager. Especially, this CD, ( the image below)    “ Chopin Complete Piano Music * Volume 15 “ with pianist Idil Biret ,  and the “ Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Robert Schakowsky ".      These are Chopin compositions when he was 18.  It’s unbelievable he created these amazing compositions when he was only 18 !  My favo

I sometimes check Japanese Amazon.com site to look for some interesting books, and while I was surfing around the site, I happened to find a Japanese long time best-seller cartoon “ Mask of Glass “ by Suzue Miuchi ‘s series 43 finally ! It’s a series from a long long time ago, since when I was a child. I started reading the cartoon when I was 13. I collected all of them which were published until series 42 and was waiting for the next series coming. It’s one of my all time favorite cartoons, because the story is really interesting. The main story is about two theater actresses who were born in different situations, different type of talent. both girls challenge to perform in the legendary award story which is owned by a genius actress called Chigusa who was the only person who could perform the drama, and is considered as very difficult to perform. The main girl called Maya in the story was born in poor surroundings , with her mother who worked for a tiny noodle res

This year, we bought something different kind of calendar for our living room. I thought it’s kind of cute. Ray also likes it. I enjoy looking at all the hand bags in it. Hand bags ( purses ) and shoes are always my favorite collectibles ( also watches ) , and I used to love to collect many kind of styles of purses. Somehow, since I moved here, it’s enough to have one or two for shopping. But seeing those purses, my collector’s personality has appeared again . Even just looking at many kind of purse, it’s so fun. Last year ( 2008 ) , we were decorating Johnny’s image calendar in our bedroom, and napping kittens image for our living room, and Zen image for my office. Ray and I were hanging around a shopping mall yesterday. Since my work is desk work and it's easy to spend a time whole day at a computer, I needed some exercise for my health. On the way to the shopping mall, we stopped at Wendy's for our lunch. Even though I know fast foods are not good for health, I sometimes love to eat those foods. Unlike Japan, we can see all the ages people at this fast foods store. In Japan, only young people are loving to eat junk foods and senior people are not liking oily foods and meats. I remember that when first Mac Donald chain store was opened in Tokyo, I was about 12 years old.  It was very interesting to see those foods in CM on TV. Especially , French fry ! My parents said it's kind of like a snack , and not real meals. My parents had never eaten those foods. They loved only traditional Japanese foods. Ray and I went shopping today.  In our place, there are not much choice for shopping as there is in Tokyo, Japan , and so we always use the biggest shopping mall around our place. It’s always fun to shop, buying some clothes. And after that we ate out and also drank frozen cappuccinos.  I bought a pair of black sandals and some clothes , and Ray bought a cool T-shirts. Last time , he bought a pair of black shoes that look like peter pan shoes, very unique. So this time, main shopping was for my clothes. While I was in the dressing room at a store, I did notice my extra luggage around my waist.  I gained… I used to have slim body, although my weight was always up and down. Seriously, I decided to lose some weight and get shape after facing the fact. My work is a desk work , and I don’t walk much since I came to the U.S.A. and started working at home.
