My Japanese relatives, aunt Takako and uncle Eimei sent me a gift recently ! There were two items with aunt Takako's hand written message letter in the box, when I opened it.   Hand written letters always make me feel warm.  Since last year, I stopped doing hand writing letters and started using digital writing by computer when I sent messages to my relatives who live in Japan. It looked cold, but it's convenient when I made an error, I can easy to edit it and fix it. But from now on, I want to hand write it by myself again. One of their gifts to me is Miso soup . Very creative and unique.  I've never seen this kind of miso soup. Another one is a special stamp book which is the image of beautiful Mr.Fuji, which is limited quantities. In the valentines day we discovered that a combination of Bordeaux wine & Godiva Chocolate pecan caramel Sundae Dessert truffles make our feeling extremely happy! It's sooooo delicious ! and the wonderful feeling stays long time. Bordeaux white wine ( French ) has been my top favorite wine so far. It's very unique and rich and very well balanced taste, so I've been enjoying drinking it often. My husband also loves this wine but his favorite wine right now is an Italian wine called Bianco. I didn't have habit to drink wine until last year, and I didn't know but now I really understand why French people and Italian people have a habit to drink wine with meals every day. In their descriptions of each wine , it always shows which wine fits with what kind of meal. They know which wine matches with what food.  When we eat a meal with a wine which matches with it, the taste expands, and we can get even more happy delicious feeling. I know

I'm loving the weather here recently. The temperature here is around 70F to 79F during the day since this month, December. Like spring has already come up !  But I suppose it will be cold again in January. Last weekend, we were hanging around a sightseeing spot in Tucson where there were tourists. I needed to take some photos of us to send to my relatives in Japan for new year's greetings,  so took some photos there.   It was a very beautiful day !                                                          On the way home, we stopped at Trader Joe's ( import super market ) and when we went to the exit after finished shopping, we saw amazing sunset there !   Gorgeous view ! 

My husband Ray's birthday will be coming very soon ! So I made a cake today. and we purchased an electric guitar which he had been wanting for his birthday present this year. Because it was limited quantities and we were afraid it may all sold out before his birthday, so we bought it last week. He has been working hard, so he deserved to get it. It's gorgeous !    I love the color.  It looks like a shining beautiful gemstone ! I knew nothing about guitar but I've never seen such a beautiful electric guitar except for The Alfee's Toshihiko Takamizawa's special custom order guitar. If it's beautiful, anything is great to me. We have a keyboard which Ray purchased a long time ago, but we haven't used it for a long time.  Since he started practicing to play guitar and making music, I also started practicing the piano / keyboard for about one hour a day in my free time. 'Jolene' 1976 by Olivia Newton John  This is another memorable music/song which I really loved.  However I didn't know who was the singer or what title of music until 2 days ago.   When I first listened to this song " Jolene " , I was 13 years old, in the first grade of middle school in 1976.    In the middle school, I was belonging with an Acting club for 3 years in the school 's club activity which all the students needed to join and which was in Friday afternoon, also after class.   It had many kinds of categories, which are indoor and outdoor.  I chose acting club, because I was interested in that but I also admired to belong with tennis club and Kendo club.  However when I joined the trial for all of them, tennis club and Kendo club and also all the other outdoor activities, they required to run marathon for training.  Marathon was one of my most disliked things , so I canceled to join these outdoor sports

I have many memorable music which reminds me of different times of my experience.  Today, I want to talk about memorable music for me when I was around 26 years old in 1989.  When I was 26, I flew to Sydney in Australia and was staying in an Aussie family's house for about 1 month and a half.  It was my first time to live in another country ( outside of Japan ) and it was one of the most unforgettable memories in my life.  Since my childhood, living in other countries was my dream and Australia was one of the countries I was interested in.   I was hearing about an Aussie family I was going to stay with, they were a 62 years old marriage couple , and when I went there, I noticed they are a big family.  Their kids appeared one after another , total of 6 kids who were from 18 to 26 at that time.  Plus 19 years old daughter has her kid who was 3 years old girl.  and 21 years old daughter was living there with her husband ( 21 ) with their baby boy.  My English

At the Bear Farm, Noboribetsu, Hokkaido in Japan on September,1994 I can't believe it's already past 20 years since then ! All the bears that were in the farm looked very friendly and some of them were waving to everyone !                              Bear Farm, in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido This was one of the most hilarious moments in my life.  It was a big surprise to me to see such friendly bears.   They wanted to get food, so we threw some snacks to them. They were catching the snacks we threw to them, perfectly ! It's mother's day, today ! For most everyone, one's own mother is the most amazing person.    I'm so grateful to my mother who gave me birth to this world and gave me countless amazing things in my life. Can't say enough to thank to her ! I love you forever !

It was my husband's birthday yesterday !  My husband loves champagne , so we were shopping for it since a few days ago.  While shopping, we saw many champagne brands, and we happened to see the brand Moet Chandon as well.  When we saw the Moet & Chandon there, it reminded us of Queen's song Killer Queen which contains the following Lyrics   " ~ She keeps a Moet et Chandon in her pretty cabinet ~ "  The composer of this song, Freddie Mercury , had several favorite Champagnes which were made in France, his favorite was " Cristal " and second was the Moet & Chandon.  He seems really a luxury lover.  I always love Italian or German Champagne and wine , so does my husband.  and I've heard that Rose is not good quality image in France?  but I always love the taste of rose.  I love white wine rather than red wine.  As a result we bought the following two sparkling wines.  Schloss Biebrich made in Germany and

It’s been ages since my last post   and already August has come !    During the time, for about 5 weeks, my husband’s work schedule had changed and we had to change our life cycle as well.    And it took about 1 month to get use to getting up real early in the morning and going to bed earlier as well. I realized that I’m really a night person, and I thought it will change when I get older from night person to morning person, but I’m still struggling getting up such an early in the morning. And I felt like time flies faster with this life cycle because soon it’s the time to go to bed. I usually get some idea for writing during the night time, so during the time I often changed my mind and my ideas were not stable to write. In July, it’s my birthday month and I finally became 50 last month! I still can’t believe that! I was born when my grandmother was 45 years old and my mother was 26.
