Champagne

It was my husband's birthday yesterday !

My husband loves champagne, so we were shopping for it since a few days ago.

While shopping, we saw many champagne brands, and we happened to see the brand Moet Chandon as well.

When we saw the Moet & Chandon there, it reminded us of Queen's song Killer Queen which contains the following Lyrics

" ~ She keeps a Moet et Chandon in her pretty cabinet ~ "

The composer of this song, Freddie Mercury, had several favorite Champagnes which were made in France, his favorite was "Cristal " and second was the Moet & Chandon.

He seems really a luxury lover.

I always love Italian or German Champagne and wine , so does my husband.

and I've heard that Rose is not good quality image in France?
but I always love the taste of rose.

I love white wine rather than red wine.

As a result we bought the following two sparkling wines.

Schloss Biebrich made in Germany and Incanto rose made in Italy .

However, the Schloss Biebrich was not a cork, but had a different kind of cap which I've never seen .

We used wine opener to open it but it didnt work because the cap was something different from cork almost one hour we were fighting with the cap.

and finally I had an idea to pull out from the side and voila, it opened !

Finally, cheers !!

It tasted fabulous !

For Alcohol , my favorite is actually beer, especially when I'm thirsty.

But I found beer gets fat easily if I drink often. so try not to drink often.

Wine and Champagne may be more healthy , especially for our heart.

I love hot sake in winter season.

Also Bourbon and vodka. When I was younger, I didn't care for my health much, so I often loved to drink Alcohol , but since I found it's not good for brain , liver and skin to drink often , I didn't drink much anymore, like when I was young.

My husband also.

When he was a college student, he drunk too much and sometimes got sick, he doesn't drink too much anymore.

But when the time is right, we are always happy to drink it.

No need to fear an explosion.

Never knew there is such a easy way to open champagne.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
