Beautiful Sunday morning , US Nationals my thoughts

It was a beautiful day today. I woke up late at 11AM, and had a glass of lemonade with red pepper as usual as my breakfast.

Ray already got up and was eating a banana muffin at the dining room.
I rarely eat sweets except for only Swiss Chocolate , but sometimes once every two month, I feel wanting to eat sweets.

Banana Muffins or Banana cream pie or chocolate chiffon cake or cheese cake or cream puff or coffee taste ice cream.

Those are my favorite sweets. But mostly , American sweets are too sweet to me so those may be the least sweets here (IMO), so that I can eat sometimes.

Anyway, while watching Ray was eating banana muffin, I was influenced and had one of them with Parisian Soup which was our left over from our last dinner.

Parisian soup is one of my favorites, it has leeks ( like Japanese green onions) with potatoes.

Very simple taste, but has margarine, salt & black pepper and whip cream.
In my mind, besides my work, about US skating Nationals often comes my mind since it will coming soon on January 18 - 25.

It always makes me very nervous since I started watching it in 2007.

Until 2006, I didn’t know about men’s figure skating and have never watched it.

If I didn’t happen to find Johnny Weir in Trino Olympics ( 2007), I might not even care for it, and might just casually watch ladies, pair and ice dance for only worlds Championship and GPF.

I really have no idea why I started getting into watch this skater, and care a lot about him.

His skating, his personality, his looking, … this human is just too charming.
Feminine or masculine ?

I personally love beautiful feminine looking but strong inside people whether male or female.

But we can not judge a person just looking only outside. It becomes like a judging a book by it’s cover.

However, in the USA , seems like being manly is considered good and always positive about it and feminine side is always negative ?

Image of men’s figure skating seems bad here. Maybe not only USA, but even in Japan, important one is always ladies skating.

Men’s Short Program will be held on January 23 , and Free Program on January 25.

And Johnny will be belong with C group, ( last group) will skate in the third in the C group.
My hope is

1. Johnny Weir - Gold2. Doesn’t matter to me but maybe Adam Rippon would be great
3. Same here, and maybe Jeremy Abbot or Ryan Bradley

And hope everything will go smoothly with Johnny.

I started avoiding to think about the result, because if I predict something realistically but I didn’t wish, it happened, and also If I predict something I wished , it didn’t happened...

So I won’t think anything until it finished except for wish him luck.

I will write my desire ( Johnny’s gold ) on a paper and put it in my lucky cat figurine.
This is always the most nervous time period every year.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods. However it's high calorie foods so if I eat a lot, it's easy to gain weight. Because Warabi mochi flour is Starch and has sugar in it and is high calorie.
