Weekend, Italian ice cream

Time passes so fast, another weekend has comes ! And it’s already June !

Recently, we found a delicious Italian ice cream store in a shopping mall.

I usually don’t eat ice cream because whenever I ate it, I got a pimple on my face next day and it took a while to fix the problem.

So originally I love ice cream but for that reason, I was avoiding to eat it. But in very hot day, sometimes I feel I’m really wanting to eat particular food when it comes to my mind. And this time, it was ice cream.

Depending on the ice cream store, I found the taste is very different.

Even for drinks, like coffee frapuccino, when taste is so bad, or just not my taste , I’m very disappointed, and feel like what a waste.

For drinks, coffee frapuccino, Starbucks is still the best. Maybe I care for the taste too much.

For regular ice cream this Italian Gelato ice cream store ’s taste made me so happy and so did Ray.

Last time, I tried “ espresso “ and Ray tried “ Swiss chocolate “.

Both of them were really delicious, similar taste to real Italian ice cream we ate in Italy. If my memory is correct, I tried it in Japan as well.

And this time I tried “ Swiss Chocolate “, and Ray tried “ Tiramisu “.

I normally love coffee based taste or chocolate or vanilla.

In Canada, I loved Maple walnuts taste ice cream.

Not so crazy for fruit based taste such as strawberry, melon, orange, etc.. and also mint taste, mint taste is like eating toothpaste. When I was in Japan, I also loved green tea ice cream.

So my top favorite tastes may be

1. Coffee ( cappuccino, and espresso )
2. Maple walnuts
3. Chocolate
4. Vanilla
5. Green tea

Ray usually love vanilla or coffee tastes.

After that, we were walking around the mall, seeing many boutiques and
shoe stores and new trends.

I did notice that a book store disappeared in the mall.

Why ?

Not much people were buying books there ?

I can spend a whole day in a book store, forget about time.

I just love books and never bored to look around many kind of books.

Ray also loves books, but he doesn’t like to go to a book store with me because when I’m in bookstores, I’m slow, even though he doesn’t say that, but I can see it from his attitude. LOL

He usually finds the books he likes fast. He wants to finish things fast.

I’m so slow, slow, slow, and enjoy the moment.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
