Happy New Year 2010 to everyone !

Time flies so fast !

It’s already 2010 !!!

Our 2009 was like a roller coaster year, and we learned how timing is very important as far as helping things go smoothly.

When you do something at the wrong time, everything may get worse and worse from that point then.

We just need to know when is the right time.

There are also signs which may point out whether it’s right time or not when we pay attention for it and things in the beginning of the day.

We felt like we were in a twilight zone for a while. LOL.

Anyway, Ray and I are fine, both keeping healthy and have been staying in good relationship, no matter what happened around us.

Life is like an illusion , why not achieve all the goals we want in our life ?

Besides our life, our most exciting thing this year 2010 is Vancouver Olympics which will be held in February !

and the location is Whistler mountain village !

I have lived there for about 4 mouths when I was around 27.
One of my favorite times in my life.

A lot of great memories.

I suppose now it has changed some of the scenery from when I was there, and my favorite scenery might have gone.

I had some friends who I met there and kept in touch each other until I came in the USA and two of them are still in touch.

Living in an accommodation of the gift shop I had worked with thirteen people, male 6, female 7.

Before going there, I could not imagine to live with many people, with no space for my own, only space for my own was only on my bed in the room, other than in the living room with many others.

But somehow, I learned a lot of things there, and had a fun time.
I just loved to see the beautiful scenery from the top of the snow mountain while skiing.

I'm very excited Olympics will be coming next month !
But it’s not the same feeling from last Olympics that my feeling was only excitement.

But this time, there is also anxious because I happened to have found my favorite figure skater Johnny Weir last Olympics.

The members of Olympics team USA has not selected yet, it will be decided at Nationals competition which will be held on January 14 - 24.

The nerves will kill me when Johnny skates.

I really really wish him to skate his best then and will make the Olympics team.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods. However it's high calorie foods so if I eat a lot, it's easy to gain weight. Because Warabi mochi flour is Starch and has sugar in it and is high calorie.
