Since my childhood, I sometimes imagined what it would be like if there was a time machine…
Future - I imagined to go traveling to future when I was a school girl, struggling with studies before examinations.
Wanted to know the result of examinations.
But that’s it,
also who will I marry with ??
On the other hand, scared to go to future to see my life.
At that time I didn’t know that people’s thoughts, emotions create our future, and I was completely thinking like life is a destiny, all passive.
But since I knew life is about how we create it, I don’t need to think about time machines to see my future anymore.
Past - Whenever I read about biographies of interesting people in history, I imagine to go to the past.
If there was a time machine or a magic door and I could time travel easily,
First,
1. I would go to see me when I was born
Especially, from the time I was born to 3 or 4 years old, the times when I have almost no memory.
My only memory during this time was when I was 3 years old, my parents took me and brother to my dad’s hometown Kyushu ( Southwest area of Japan ) and I was attacked by a goat that my grandparents owned while I was playing with a ball alone and I started crying loudly.
I still remember the goat’s eyes when he/she looked at me.
This kind of shocking experience is in my memory. I’m still scared of goats.
2. Want to see my husband Ray when he was born.
Ray’s life was much more adventure than me.
Ray was born in a jungle in Zaire, Africa because his parents were American Missionaries, working overseas, then they soon moved to Belgium, Europe, and he grew up there.
Then came to the USA for college , and later lived in Taiwan for 3 years.
I still sometimes feel, it’s unbelievable we got together with so many similar taste and view points in life and many things even though both were born and grew up in such far away places from each other.
But from the beginning I felt so comfortable with him like I already knew him.
3. Times when my parents were children and their life.
Both of my parents are still mystery to me.
My dad told me many stories about his childhood when he was still alive, and I heard his biography and he was a very adventure person, had strong ambition to his life.
My mom was more mysterious type, while she wanted to know anything I do, and I told her almost everything what happened to me, she was more of a secret person about herself.
Even my step-father didn’t know many things about her. I’ve heard about her life story from my grandmother but there are still many mystery parts.
I wish both of my parents would have written their bio books or diaries.
I also want to know about my grandparent’s life as well.
4. Ancient times - for example, were our ancient ancestors ape-like primates, and if so, when did they become recognizable as humans.
Actually, I want to see how earth started from the beginning.
So many fantasy stories about that, and I was interested in what Neale Donald Walsh’s Spirit Guide said about it.
5. Ancient city of Atlantis
I want to see the truth and what happened during that time. What kind of world was it ?
What kind of people were living there?
Why Atlantis was destroyed ?
What kind of technology they were having and using ?
6. France during Louis the 16th generation, and see Marie Antoinette.
I’ve read about Marie Antoinette‘s life story when I was an elementary school girl.
Her life was shocking to me. Ray sometimes says we cant get any knowledge from her, why so interested in seeing her ?
I went to Versailes palace for sightseeing because it was one of my dreams to see the palace where she had lived since my childhood.
7. Time period when all my favorite genius music composers were alive - Saint- Saens, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Massenet, Liszt .
And after having arrived in their time period, I want to go to see each composer’s live concert !
And then I want to peek at how they were creating music.
I really want to see Franz Liszt live in concert, especially when he was in his 20‘s !!
After that
8. Go to see all the generations of Japan from the very beginning.
I think I’m very Japanese in many ways, so I’m interested in the history of Japan from the beginning.
So many history of Japan, for example, music, food , clothes, transportation, houses, language ( I would not understand old style Japanese language though ).
I’ve never enjoyed studying history by reading history textbooks at school, but I would enjoy traveling and seeing and experiencing the cycle of the history in my own view.
