So happy !!! My Japanese relatives, aunt Takako and uncle Eimei sent us a gift again , and received it yesterday ! They are my mother's younger brother and his wife and my closest relatives. They have been really nice to me since I was a little girl. I can not say enough to thank them for so many things they did to me and my family in my life. These are Organic Mochi ( rice cakes ) , it's kind of like a sticky rice. A rice cake is made by pounding steamed rice into a cake.  I was telling my husband that I really want to eat Mochi around new year holidays because I haven't eaten Mochi since I moved to the USA,  but Asian super market  here are not selling Mochi. So I was thinking about purchasing it in amazon store.     Also the seaweed called "Nori " , and ground sesame which I eat almost everyday. So, I'm so so happy and grateful to receive their gift ! They don't know about my wish to eat Mochi, so I felt like it's

My birthday was coming again. But I already received my birthday gifts a few days ago. We are always like that for our birthdays, and also in Christmas days and Valentines days. We felt like it’s better to request gifts of what we really want . So, because of that, no surprise gifts since a long time ago. Every year, when Ray asks me what do you want for your birthday ? Always what comes my mind first is  “ books “ . This year also, I’m so happy to receive books which are very valuable to me and which I feel like priceless and want to read them forever.  Every trip  I will also always bring them with me  or one of them.    I’m a super book lover, and always dream to have a library room in our dream home.
