Johnny in Festa on ice

OMG, I can’t even focus on other things during the time Johnny is in Festa on ice. There are so many information for it already and I have been watching many videos and photos for it. Starting from Johnny singing “ Ain’t no sunshine “ in his fan meeting at an art hall. That’s was soooooo fun. His voice is great , it was unexpected voice and he was singing with emotion from his heart many part, with the wrong tone at times. LOL. So it was soooo funny and cute. It’s never boring. I think depending on the training, he can fix it quickly, because his other parts were great. But that way may be more fun though. LOL. Johnny and Stephane Lambiel did throw triple salchow during the practice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8P-XpohHUU This is amazing. I really hope they will do it in one of the events during the time. If not, in Japan or someday when they got together again in a same show. Johnny’s jump was beautiful and also lambiel’s artistic pose after he threw him, and Johnny’s...

Johnny in Korea for Festa on ice

Johnny’s schedule seems like Korean ice show called “ Festa on ice” from April 24 - 26. But before that, he had a fan meeting in an art hall and there is a stage which was set up for welcoming Johnny, and according to a Korean fan’s report, he sang "Ain't no sunshine”. and sounded like they all had a wonderful time with him, dancing and singing. Johnny’s fan service is just amazing as usual. Besides Russia, Johnny said he has Korean face book site and when he opened it, it hits over 100,000 within a week. I guess it’s more than Russia. His popularity in Korea may be much more than I think. I always love to hear Johnny is popular and treated like a rock star. In Japan also I think he is very popular, he needed four guards around the hotel he was staying because his fans are so avid. There are many other skaters who are very popular but what I realized that is differe nce between him and other skaters is that Johnny has a lot of rabid fans. I’ve heard that aft...

World Championship 2009, Ladies event - My review

Wow, It was quite fun seeing Ladies event this season and the result made me a big surprise ! I also watched men’s event for a few skaters on TV but I was unable to make extra time for pair and ice dance. Yu Na’s victory was quite sure for me before it started , so it was not a big surprise but her performance was amazing, especially her SP ! And what made me and Ray happy and excitement the most was Miki Ando got on the podium !!!! Great comeback from disappointed last season! We didn’t expect her to be on the podium even though we really wished. Seeing the whole season’s result and performances for top ladies, my original prediction was 1. Yu Na 2. Mao 3. Joanne I was hoping if Miki could get on the podium but I thought it may be difficult so at least if she could be placed within 5th, because we love her. So this result was a big surprise for me ! 1. Yu Na 2. Joanne 3. Miki 4. Mao 5. Rachel And Ray and I are so happy for Miki. She was the only medallist from Japan in ...

Walking , shopping , walking, shopping

It was a busy Saturday ! We went to a shopping mall to buy a new CD player that we can easily move around because our old one has not been working well. It’s already ipod generation and it’s hard to find a CD player right now but, we need it. First we went to “ Best Buy “ where we usually can find a good one. However, unfortunately they didn’t have one we would like to purchase. We were also looking around the store, and it was interesting to see many kind of digital camera, cell phone, and also Hd TV.   Next, we went to Circuit City, However, seems like the store was already closed. Because of the bad US economy ??? Even “Best Buy” didn’t look so busy on Saturday afternoon. Then we went to a Tucson shopping mall, and finally found a it’s okay CD player made by Sony. We have a good experience for Aiwa in the past, but they didn’t have one, so his time we purchased Sony. RCA must be one of the worst.  It’s broken very soon ( within a year ) while A...

The Power of Honey & Cinnamon

Recently, I’m addicted to drink cinnamon coffee twice or three times a day besides lemon & cayenne pepper water. Cinnamon is one of my favorite herbs, and have been loving to sprinkle it over Star bucks coffee whenever I drink it. And while I was researching one of my projects , I happened to find an interesting information about mixture of Honey & Cinnamon. According to the article, The mixture of honey & cinnamon cures most of the diseases and illness , such as cancer, a rthritis, bladder infections , eczema, heart disease , immune system , stomach upset, cold and cough, infertility , bad breath, influenza. And it also good for cholesterol, hair loss, weight loss, toothaches etc... I never knew those two combination can get even more power to kill all of those illness and stay young ! How to take them ? I take one cup of hot water with one table spoon of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder twice or three times a day. Or put...

Johnny Weir in New York Fashion week event , ice show cocktail party

http://www.vman.com/blog/johnny-weir-can-skate-a-little/ Johnny was invited by New York Fashion week ice show , cocktail party as a headliner last week. ( February 19) Johnny performed with the music “ poker face “ by Lady Ga Ga. This music is similar to European disco music which is upbeat. And his performance was really fantastic and sooooooo sexy with the costume, the way how he moves, his face, his body line, his form ! According to ice network article, he was planning to perform “ Feeling good “ but he was suggested to do something more current. This was good, because I was not so crazy for the music of “ feeling good “. I really loved his “ Poker Face ” so much. I hope he will skate with this kind of music again. Seems like he will perform this number in Korean ice show in April. Good for Korean fans ! He may perform it in Japanese COI, too. But not sure Japanese fans love this number or not. Johnny has many fans world wide, but so far, looks like many of his...

Busy weekend- shopping to an international super market and etc...

I was planning to go to an international supermarket this weekend since some of our Japanese foods such as Miso, Japanese rice, etc.. have run out. I can’t live without Japanese food. We usually go get them once every two months. There are some Asian supermarkets in Tucson, but we have been using the biggest one since we moved here. It takes about 20 minutes drive from our place. On the way to the supermarket, we go through downtown. Downtown here is very small compared with many other big cities. People here may be more walking around the street than St. Louis, but it’s still very quiet. The building of the international market looks like a factory. When we got there in the first time, we got lost and it was hard to find it because there was no big sign for it, and it’s in a quiet place, and also it didn’t look like a supermarket other than a weird warehouse or a factory. Anyway, we have been using this Asian market since 5 or 6 years ago. Sometimes we saw a young Asian ...
