Busy weekend- shopping to an international super market and etc...

I was planning to go to an international supermarket this weekend since some of our Japanese foods such as Miso, Japanese rice, etc.. have run out.

I can’t live without Japanese food. We usually go get them once every two months. There are some Asian supermarkets in Tucson, but we have been using the biggest one since we moved here.

It takes about 20 minutes drive from our place.

On the way to the supermarket, we go through downtown. Downtown here is very small compared with many other big cities. People here may be more walking around the street than St. Louis, but it’s still very quiet.

The building of the international market looks like a factory. When we got there in the first time, we got lost and it was hard to find it because there was no big sign for it, and it’s in a quiet place, and also it didn’t look like a supermarket other than a weird warehouse or a factory.

Anyway, we have been using this Asian market since 5 or 6 years ago.
Sometimes we saw a young Asian lady with red Ferrari in this market.
It was very impressive. Ray and I both were like " Wow, " because she looked so cool.

Found a cooking Sake. Japanese stuffs are usually double of the amount or more from Japan.

And Miso.

And natto. My favorite breakfast ( or branch ) is always Japanese rice, natto with green onions , burned salmon( or Omelet or sunny side up ), salad and miso soup.

After that, I also wanted to check body soap , shampoo and hair conditioner which are made of Olive oil.
I'm now crazy about Extra virgin olive oil since seeing an amazing result for my skin.
I really understand why it was called as "Liquid gold, magical oil" since ancient times.

I love to use the mixture of Olive oil, vinegar and water for my night skin care and also the mixture of olive oil , honey and egg yolk as my daily mask.

Ray also tried it and really loves the mask.

So, we also went to a Natural foods market where there are many kind of healthy products such as healthy supplements, herbs, organic foods, etc.. and we were expecting to find some products which are made of olive oil.

Even though we could not find some products which are made of olive Oil, it's always fun to look around those healthy supplements.
Maybe for Olive oil beauty products, I better make them by myself using all natural ingredients.

There are so many kind of herbs, too in this store.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
