Short trip to Marriott Star Pass Resort

It's been forever since my last post about Tucson Zoo. I don't know why but sometimes I don't get the mood to write something. and when my mood is not on to write, I just follow my feeling. We have been doing fine and during this time, we went on a very short trip to the Marriott Star Pass Resort Hotel in December. This year is our 15 years marriage anniversary so, for the celebration of the anniversary and Christmas we wanted to go somewhere. My husband was lucky to win a gift card for the Star Pass resort and we are very grateful for it.  I was always curious to go to that place , it's known as the best resort hotel in Tucson, AZ.   It was a very warm clear comfortable weather , so we didn't have to bring winter coat.      The check in time was 4 pm , so we didn't have to get up early in the morning. We left home around 2 pm because we wanted to have lunch before going to the hotel . Loving the mountain view road.   Many cactuses !!

At the Zoo - Beautiful day !

We went to Reid Park Zoo Last Tuesday. It was a very beautiful day. We've been to several tourist places in Tucson since we moved here but somehow we had never been to the zoo until now. The last time we saw so many animals was in the Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL and it was about 13 years ago. So we really enjoyed seeing many animals there ! When we first entered the zoo, we saw a beautiful peacock walking around the grounds. There was also Merry Go-round but it was funny that instead of horses, there were Bear, Giraffe, Zebra, bird, etc..   sculptures on the Merry go-round.     Unique Merry go-round.      The zoo was divided into parts, for example, there was the African area, and also South American area. So we first went to the South American area. Gibbon Black colored ape. It was the first time to see this kind of ape, and they look different from any of the Japanese monkeys that I've ever see
