2006 ISU men figure stake Worlds Championship in Calgary

It was very pain to watch this year's men's Championship figure skating for me.

My favorite skater Johnny Weir had injury with his back and he was not good condition for this competition because of the pain.

We are wondering why they held the Championship this time so close to the Olympics , it's only 3 weeks from Olympic game and most of the skaters looked exhausted, and some had problem with their body.

It should be held much later so that skaters can get a time for the rest and training.

Johnny skates very good in the Short Program with music "Swan" .

Only in the combination spin part , he little bit lost balance.

In the free program, he skates with music "Otonal" by Raul DiBlasio, he did great quad , and his performance was very artistic and beautiful as usual even though he had back pain!

It's incredible ! but in the triple turn jump, he fell down and hit his body hardly on the ice and could not get up soon because of his back pain.

I thought he can't continue but he continued until the end.
Johnny was very strong, and brave.

I don't really care for the score, who got gold medal and who won the competition because I don't think gold medalists are always the most talented skaters.

Also I realized that score is not fair. Depending on the scoring system, judges their opinion is different if the skaters can jump very well, they can get high score even though their component part is not really good.

In my opinion, Johnny weir is an amazing skater and I think he is the most natural talented skater compared others , especially component part.

Every detail of his performance is artistic and beautiful, his fingers, arms, body line, legs and his expression.

Also his acting is very natural. I could see other skaters acting was not natural but Johnny is being the real person from the music during the performance. Judges are always giving good scores for people who are over acting. But over acting is not natural and I don't feel anything from it.

Johnny is underacting. and it's the strongest impression and very difficult to do it.

I hope Johnny is fine and his back is getting better now.

It was fun to watch his performance. I think he is a great dancer, and creative and rhythm and very talented skater.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
