Johnny's New Short Program

It's been forever since my last entry.

I've been busy for my work since then.

In my free time, I'm still into figure skating,... I mean Johnny Weir.

Now finally figure skating season is coming up since the end of August.

Johnny was competing at team competition "Japan vs U.S.A." in October 6.

His new SP is Russian classic " Yunona I Avos " .

It's a beautiful piano music.

Fortunately, I could watch his SP on YouTube very soon since someone was already created it in the next day from the COP.

Great news was U.S.A. team won !

I mean Johnny's team won !

Sorry, Japan, but Johnny wins in my mind. LOL

His new SP is so beautiful, sentimental and romantic and I love it a lot. Only his miskate was he hand down from his 3A ( triple axel jump ). But it's not a big deal.

I'm very glad that real Johnny Weir is back now. He is in his comfort zone, came back to his original beautiful ballet style.

He received 73.90 for the total score total. TES 38.80 PCS 35.10.

I don't like to judge his beautiful skating with element to element, like what his spin is, steps are, jumps are , foot works and thinking judging system instead of feeling. It’s like a math for me.

But I also want him to win to see his happy face, so I checked the scores with pdf file.

Spins - Two level 4, one level 2

Straight line sequence - level 3

Circular steps- level 1

Seems like Johnny was saying to his mother that he didn't close the circle and seems like there is a deduction for not closing the circle and it was a huge mistake. Maybe that’s the reason he received Circular steps for level 1 ?

According to his mother, his condition was great.

I really love this program but little worry about his PCS, because PCS 35.10 is little low for Johnny.

I also found out that one of the judges ( Judge 4 who are from U.S.A. in the pdf file ) was scoring very strictly to everyone.

That judge gave everyone low scores. When all the other judges scored around 7.5, that judge 4 was scoring 6.5 or 6.0. It’s one of the reason everyone’s score was so low.

But probably Johnny and his coach already know what was wrong, what is not perfect yet and will increase his score until Cup of China.

Oh, I'm so nervous to watch Cup of China, becasue there is Stephane Lambiel and Evan Lysacek will be there.

It will be more peaceful to watch all the COP if there is no Johnny.

But if there is no Johnny, I have no reason to watch men's figure skating anymore because I'm not any of sports fan.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods.
