Women Gymnastics All-around, Nastia won !

This competition was pretty enjoyable to watch because I have some favorites and we were very excited during the time.

I was rooting for Nastie Liukin for gold medal so it was very nice to see her win ! Seems like everyone thought Shawn Johnson will win for this competition before started and she was the favorite in the U.S.A. ?

That’s why only her fluff piece was shown ?
My favorites are

1. Nastie Liukin (U.S.A.)
2. Ksennia Semenova ( RUS )
3. Yang Yling and Yuang ( China )

Those three are my favorites ! I love those girls styles and also they are my type of looking, so it can also be my top three favorite beauty contest.

I really love Russian girl Ksenia especially her floor exercise, she was the most musical in it so I was really hoping she will get silver, and Chinese girl Yang Yling for bronze.

Nastie was amazing, she definitely deserved the gold medal !

She looked very nervous before started, but she was very strong and did excellent job for each subject, only in uneven bar, she stepped out in landing at the end, but it was not so a big deal.

I kept shouting “ go, go, go ! “ while Nastie was performing.

I also liked Yang Yling‘s performances . Her body positions are little bit similar to Nastie and was beautiful to watch. But only floor exercise, I liked other Chinese girl Yuang who is a Chinese Nationals champion better.

Nastie’s the way how she use her hands and fingers are unique and artistic. It’s hard to make that shape with hands and her long fingers may be helping to make it look more artistic. It didn’t work for my hands when I tried it.

Shawn Johnson was doing good, too. She is a cute girl with good sportsmanship to Nastie and other gymnasts. Technically she is a great gymnast, but not so memorable to me and her performances still reminds me of Carly Patterson.

I just prefer Nastie and other girls more. That’s all. Nothing wrong with Shawn.
They also showed Nelli Kim a little bit during the competition and we were shocked to see present Nelli Kim.

I’ve read about that Nelli Kim is the president of gymnastic organization in the US ( not sure what kind of organization though ), she really look like a strong boss type of woman now.
I really loved her style when she was eligible gymnast.

Media keeps showing Michael Phelps so many times, and I’m getting tired seeing his super competitive facial expressions every time I saw his same face. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just I have no interest about him.

Sweet Food which does not get fat - Warabi mochi

I recently love eating this sweet food that Japanese call " Warabi mochi " which is made of 0 calories food psyllium in my coffee break time. It's sweet food but I use Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener instead of sugar when I make it. Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener is 0 calorie s and 0 glycemic and very similar taste as normal sugar. It is said it's derived from monk fruit, which looks like a small green gourd native to regions of China and Thailand. It's not artificial so it is not bad for health so I feel comfortable eating it. Warabi mochi is a food which is normally made of Kinako ( soybean flour) & sugar & warabi powder and it's one of my favorite foods. However it's high calorie foods so if I eat a lot, it's easy to gain weight. Because Warabi mochi flour is Starch and has sugar in it and is high calorie. From Japanese Movie " Ame no Amsterdam (Rain in Amsterdam)" I've been into the late 1960s to 1970s generation since several years ago.
