We went to see Styx Live concert on May 4 !!!  What a magical night !!!  We were so excited to know they would be touring our city. The concert was held at the amphitheater, in Tucson, and this event area is outside and is located next to the Casino Del So l building. We arrived at the Casino place around 7pm, and looked around the Casino.  It was like a museum , they made it like it’s open air, like it’s outside but it’s actually inside.  The ceiling was painted like the sky with a sunset, looked real. I might have tried one of the games if we had enough time there.  Before the show, while we were waiting in line to show our tickets, the speakers were playing Deep Purple ’s music “ Smoke on the Wate r “ and people around us started singing together.  Many of the audience looked similar ages as us, same generation people and somehow I felt comfortable to be surrounded by them.  There were also many young people with their parents.  My impression wa

We‘ve been enjoying organic foods since a month ago.   Because we care for our health and also organic foods taste more delicious than normal vegetables.   Recently, I really feel the famous quote  “ You are what you eat . “   is true.   Although healthy life comes from balance between mind, body, skin care, good night sleep and activities besides food life .   Health is a treasure.   Also I realized that “ good blood circulation ” is one of the most important key to keep healthy and look young skin.   After being amazed to see Styx’s ageless Tommy Shaw on TV, I started searching about “ secret of youth “.  He looks so much younger than his age.  Also, there was an interview with Styx on CNN in the morning about a week ago and they talked about what they think are the keys to longevity and a healthy life. http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/bestoftv/2012/04/23/exp-kyra-phillips-age-against-the-machine.cnn  

Hee hee, We bought it ! And watched it ! This is a really, really high quality music band’s concert performance. Perfection ! I’m a big fan of Styx now. Their sounds are so clear and beautiful with perfect balance. Best Improv-Ice ' 2011 http://www.dissonskating.com/2011/12/improv-ice-voting/ This Pandora’s ice show was held in December ‘2011 and was showing in NBC on January’ 2012. Guest music group was Styx ! I wanted to write a review for it because this show was awesome and we re-watched our recording of it several times recently when we have time. but December to February are the most busy time for my work, and could not make a time to write about it until now. We are usually not so crazy to see ice shows with a musician’s live performance, because so far, maybe because of their choice of the music, we were always more into skaters and skating. But this was exception, Styx was fantastic and we really enjoyed it from beginning to the end ! Ray also loved one of past guest music groups “ Foreigner “ which was also from Pandora’s ice show. Honestly, even though I knew Styx is a famous music group, I had never seen them, and didn’t know what kind of people. But

My Japanese passport‘s expire date was in February , so we had a road trip to LA on January 30, 31 because the General of Japan Consulate where I can renew my passport is located in only Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, New York etc.. and the closest place from my place is Los Angeles . We wanted to have sightseeing if we had one or two extra days but Ray’s work was very busy this season and he could only get two days off. So, there was no time for sightseeing in our LA trip, such as seeing all the Theme parks, and we went there just go get my new passport in a very limited time. Normally, it takes a week to get the new passport but for people who are from other states, they can specially make it faster within 1 to 2 days. Our plan was arriving at General of Japan Consulate around 3:00pm, And apply for the passport renewal. Then pick up the new passport in the next day’s afternoon, after 3:00pm. The estimated driving time from our place to LA downtown is about 7 to 8
