I found a beautiful letter from Emanuel Sandhu to Japan in his fan’s blog at the link below,

( thank you to the blog owner for sharing his letter ! )
He sent this letter below, around April 29.
“ To all of my Japanese skating fans
and to all of the marvelous people of Japan,
As the World Championships continue,
I think of you often and pray for you often.
There are no words that I can say that will mitigate
the hardships that you all must have and continue
to endure after the tragedies of the earthquake and tsunami.
I can only hope that by watching members of your country skate,
in fact all the skaters, that you will be able to find the inspiration
to be stronger and fight harder just like they do everyday.
Skating is not only a sport but an art and art is the freedom of
self-expression.
You too must make the journey to meet yourselves within and learn things about yourselves and others that lie in dark places.
Bring what you find into the light because
you will discover its beauty.
Share that beauty and find the courage to smile.
Be strong and find your calm.
I miss and love you all, my friends.
Emanuel “
Emanuel has strong long time fans in Japan so they must be really glad to receive this message.
I also found an information about Emanuel will perform in Art on Ice show in China on June 18, 19 !
Hopefully, it will show up on Chinese TV and someone will upload it on you tube.
I miss his skating and artistry very much. He was a one of a kind skater, absolutely unique & true artist and an incredible dancer.
I haven’t been so crazy to watch present skating competitions, but always love to see Sandhu’s skating in ice shows which have freedom of artistry without being blocked by required elements and other rules.
