Key of success Quote

" Exceeding your personal best. " " There is no competition. There is no enermy. There is only the desire to improve yourself. As you improve, the world improves. " I love this quote. I found this quote in one of my favorite book " Attractor factor " by Joe Vitale. I've just sent this message to my favorite skater Johnny Weir. He will compete in Cup of Russia on November 23, 24. Johnny lost his mind-set at Skate Canada and finished at third place. Since my second favorite skater Stephane Lambiel ( from Switzerland ) made big mistake at his SP, and ranked at 7th place, and Johnny got 2nd position at his SP, he could win the competition. However, Johnny said, since he knew he could win this competition, he felt confidence after the SP and before the FP. Once his FP started, and he made mistake at his first jump which was suppose to be combination jumps ( 3-3 ). Then his quad became triple jump and he made another mistake at

Figure Skating Review - Skate America

Johnny was not in this event. But Ray and I were curious to see some of the other skaters, Evan and Oda for men because they are one of the tough competitors for Johnny . and also for women, we wanted to see Miki Ando and Mao Asada . Ray and I love Miki Ando right now. I was not really interested in her skating until I saw her new program at Campbel's Cup , because I thought her skating is boring but now she looked like totally different person from last Olympic and before.  She lost 10lb since last Olympic and looked really nice. She changed her skating style, learned from great Russian coach who were also teaching Shizuka. I loved Miki's both programs ( SP & LP). She is a beautiful powerful skater. I know she is not as good as Sasha especially for her component but I loved her powerful jumps and straight line foot work. also I loved the way how she uses her hands and fingers. Very graceful. Also love her gorgeous costumes. ( SP & LP ) a

Figure Skating Review - Campbel's Cup

Figure skating season has already arrived since October , and Ray and I both are really crazy for it right now. Our favorite skater Johnny Weir changed his previous style that was very elegant, graceful to more masculine style and nothing was romantic anymore. I was little bit disappointed for it because I thought the old style was what made him so unique and original. It's what made him stand out from the other male skaters. It's what gave his style impact. Although Johnny is always amazing, this new style lessens the impact. If this was the first time I saw Johnny, I would have thought he is like the other male skaters. I'm always glad to see Johnny smile and happy. This new style for this SP is not for me. Although I watched it three times, all I remember is that he did good jumps. And for me, it's not even about feminine or masculine style, because his exhibition program " My Way " was very masculine but it was very beautiful elegant with b

The Energy You Give Out is the Result You Get !

Before I fell asleep, I always read a book.  That's one of my habit ! Last night, I was reading one of my favorite book called " Atractor factor " by Joe Vitale . It's a self help book , very spiritual and also very practical.  This is not just a new age book and it's kind of like a famous classic book " Napoleon Hill " . But it has more clear information to be successful. I read this book over and over and I'm still getting a lot of help from it.  Every time I read it , I always discovered the key of our life success from it. " The Energy You Give Out is the Result You Get " . " Emotion has Power " " Your Inner Becomes Outer " . The author Joe Vitale says " The energy you give out is the result you get " That's the attractor factor. It's really true !  Everything in the world is made up of energy including human , plants , even furniture and decor

Tucson Botanical Gardens

My husband Ray and I went to Tucson Botanical Garden this weekend. When I first came to Tucson, what I really impressed was trees. All the trees in Tucson are SO artistic and beautiful ! Unfortunately, I have no talent at drawing painting , but I love to take pictures. In the botanical garden, there are 16 different gardens within our grounds representing a variety of gardening traditions and botanical themes. It was very interesting to see each of the gardens. There was a bride and groom holding their wedding party and everyone who were invited was dressing up , taking their pictures . We were the only people who wore casual look. Ray looks serious, he said too much smiling make him look stupid , so he didn't smile. Ha ha.. But I think he is a good photographer.

10 Rules to Boost Your Luck

I love books, and I love to spend my time at a book store sometimes .  American book store is very convenient because I can read whatever I want , sitting at a sofa, drinking coffee at the star bucks there before I buy any books.  I don't have to buy it if I didn't like it. It's like a library beside the books are all brand new. Since I came in the U.S.A., I hadn't been reading Japanese books , but I had ton of books in my book case in Japan, and I brought only my favorites ones and gave the rest to library and sold them to used book stores.  I wanted to bring everything, but I had too many another staffs to bring and send for moving, so I couldn't. Anyway, yesterday , I found one of my old Japanese book called " " 10 Rules to Boost Your Luck " written by Two Japanese authors , while I was cleaning my book case. I remember, when my feeling was down, I purchased this book and really loved it at that time . Soo
