I remember that while Ray was watching American Idol, he said Brian May and Roger Taylor who are members of the English rock group Queen, asked Adam Lambert who was in the American Idol show if he would be interested to be the singer for Queen. Seems like Paul Rodgers and Queen already broke up after 4 years together. And they might be looking for a new singer for Queen. When I first saw Adam Lambert in American Idol, somehow he reminds me of Emanuel Sandhu who is a Canadian figure skater . I don’t know why, but he really reminds me of Sandhu. Even though their faces are different, but hair style and looks are something similar. And we noticed Lambert is a great singer, and it may be great if he joins Queen as lead singer. Paul Rodgers is a great singer who has nice voice, but I thought he was not really fit with Queen’s music. I like Paul Roger’s some of his solo songs, but with Queen, Ray and I both already had the strong impression of Freddie Mercury’s stage performances

Time passes so fast, another weekend has comes ! And it’s already June ! Recently, we found a delicious Italian ice cream store in a shopping mall. I usually don’t eat ice cream because whenever I ate it, I got a pimple on my face next day and it took a while to fix the problem. So originally I love ice cream but for that reason, I was avoiding to eat it. But in very hot day, sometimes I feel I’m really wanting to eat particular food when it comes to my mind. And this time, it was ice cream. Depending on the ice cream store, I found the taste is very different. Even for drinks, like coffee frapuccino, when taste is so bad, or just not my taste , I’m very disappointed, and feel like what a waste. For drinks, coffee frapuccino, Starbucks is still the best. Maybe I care for the taste too much. For regular ice cream this Italian Gelato ice cream store ’s taste made me so happy and so did Ray. It’s a cloudy day today !  Cloudy days in Tucson are fantastic, because the killer sun is behind the clouds, but not dark and not gray sky , nice to walk around the nature. Love it. Seems like Johnny selected his new choreographer David Wilson for his new program. Maybe both programs ? I liked Yu Na Kim’s last season’s SP for his work, her FP looked similar choreography to her SP though, and for Jeffrey Buttle’s programs , I was not so crazy for any of his work except for Buttle‘s 2005-06 season’s FP. But it may be great choice for Johnny, since David Wilson’s choreography usually received high mark, especially under COP. At least better than Nina for competition programs. Adam Rippon’s choreographer for next season is also Wilson ? I’m not expecting too much until seeing the programs. Hope David will make impressive one for Johnny which fits him with different type of choreography from any other skaters , with two different choreographies, SP & FS. With Johnny’s

I’m very excited, figure skating GPS assignments has just published yesterday ! Johnny will skate in Cup of Russia and NHK , maybe that what he requested ? I’m very happy, he got what he wanted ! I’m also excited to see Sasha Cohen , Evgeny Plushenko, Daisuke Takahashi and also Shen/Zhao will be back ! I was away from pair skating since Tatiana Totyama / Marin retired and Shen/Zhao haven’t competed. Because after them, I felt bored and thought it all became like technical part, and no artistry. Only one Russian pair looked good, but still unpolished. I loved those two pairs T/M and S/Z. For ladies, Sasha Cohen was my top favorite ladies skaters, because of her exquisite skating plus, her musicality , well balanced movements, I especially loved her passionate, powerful SP more than lyrical style of music. Besides extra virgin olive oil, I’ve been doing a mixture of another great natural formula since two weeks ago. This information came from Ray who happened to find about Ninon de L’Enclos ’s amazing story concerning her youthful skin. According to the article, Ninon de L’ Enclos is known as a famous French beauty from the late 1600s. She kept her youthful skin until 85 years old when she passed away. Even in to her 80’s she was attracting many young men who fell hopelessly in love with her. She never published her secret of her youthful skin until the end , only telling her special friends about her secret formula. There is no photo of her, but seeing her painting in other websites, she looks in her 30’s when she was 85. According to the article, her face was as smooth and free of winkles in her 80’S as it had been at 20. She hated wrinkles and successfully kept her skin youthful , using her special secret formula. Yesterday, I made one of our favorite pastas for lunch. The taste is more like Japanese taste because of the sauce. It’s very yummy. Ray ate it within a few minutes as usual. Pastas and noodles are always his number one favorite meals. Ingredients 1. Davinci brand Linguine ( made in Italy) 2. Japanese cabbage ( Hakusai in Japanese) 3. Green asparagus 4. Beans Sprout ( Moyashi in Japanese ) 5. Pork ham 6. Vegetable oil Sauce 1. Mirin - ¼ cup 2. Cooking sake - 1/8 cup 3. Soy sauce - ¼ cup 4. Sesami oil - one or two table spoons 5. Chili hot bean sauce - one tea spoon The point is the pasta. I have tried some pastas which were made in the USA, but I found Italian pastas are more delicious and it was so different, so I don’t use American pasta anymore. After boiling the pasta ( until becomes not too soft but not too hard ), stir pork ham, then all the other ingredients in a frying pan. Then mix the pasta with those ingredients in the frying pan. Since I got to watch Johnny’s Poker Face program, it blew me away and didn’t have time to watch any other performances for a while , but finally I could watch his other program “ You impressed me “ by Korean singer recently. OMG, this performance is breathtaking, very dramatic , beautiful romantic story and I even got tears while watching. I of course have no idea what the singer was saying in the song, but Johnny’s emotional performance plus the music and the singer’s singing voice hit my heart. I suppose Johnny is knowing the meaning of the song. There are two video which are from different angles and one of the video was more of showing whole the performance rather than close up to his movements. But from the far away, how he was moving , his pantomime in the beginning of the program, I could feel his emotion, every detail of his movements . It’s very imaginative, and I almost forgot he was on ice, the background became different world. The story looks sad ending
