Review - “ Skating with the Stars ”

We were watching “ Skating with the Stars “ at 8:30 pm ( ABC CH ) on November 22, because Johnny Weir was there as one of the judges, with Dick Button and Laurie Ann Gibson . Seems like it was about 6.5 millions viewers ! I never knew such a large amount of people were watching this show. I’ve never seen this kind of show, like “Dancing with the Stars“ , and would not care for it if Johnny was not in the show, but it was really enjoyable to watch. Also I found I can know three situations through watching it , as a judge’s side, as a challenger’s side, and my personal view. This way I can objectively watch it to be fair. I could view like that while watching figure skating competitions, but as being a huge fan of a particular skater, judge’s side was often ignored from my mind. But since Johnny is one of the judges in this competition, I also viewed from judge’s side and found new discovery. The performers are Rebecca Budig / Fred Palascak, Bethenny Frankel

Impact is everything

I had a strange dream last night. Ray and I became two of the judges out of 8 judges in a fashion event ! And there were about 10 models. I was impressed by two models’ fashions and for the rest of the models, not so memorable. It’s just a dream, however I could feel the situation of judges through it. Even if a model has good taste of fashion, if the model doesn’t make an impact to judges, the judges don’t remember him/her. Creative photos That’s how I felt in my dream. And when I woke up in the morning, I started thinking about Freddie Mercury who was saying similar things when he first met Brian May and Roger Taylor , which was something like, “ You have so much talent, but you need more impact, because without making an impact you will never succeed. “ Freddie Mercury told them this ( before Freddie and John Deacon joined the band ) when Freddie first saw Brian May and Roger Taylor live in concert with their earlier band called Smile. Freddie was a gen

Johnny Weir " Just Dance " at Battle of the band Wheeeeeee !!!! This is another gem performance from Johnny !!! OMG, I can’t stop this excitement while and after watching it !!! He skated with Lady Ga Ga’s “Just dance” at Battle of the band show in Canada. In the beginning of his expression and poses, pantomime are really like David Bowie , I love the make-up and the hair. And of course the costume which he was using for his Bad Romance number.   Cool, Fierce, hot, gorgeous, artistic, eye-catching, glamorous and entertaining. I love his every movements, and his expression of this. I especially love the part the picture above. Wild & hot. His arms and hands and fingers and the lines, every movements are so sensitive and his expression !! His jump was strong and solid and love the pose after landed it. So beautiful ! Sacha Baron Cohen has been chosen to play Freddie Mercury in Queen Film

Actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has been chosen to play Freddie Mercury in a new movie, which will be in theatres in 2011. There was news about a Freddie Mercury movie in the works a few years ago and at that time, it was Johnny Depp who was the main actor being rumored for the part. Sacha Baron Cohen’s name had also come up at the time, but no actor had been firmly decided for the part at that time. Robert De Niro ’s Tribeca productions will be a co-producer for the film. Freddie Mercury was one of rock’s greatest icons of all time.  He was the lead singer, a song writer, and pianist for the English rock group, Queen. Freddie Mercury was known for his soaring, powerful vocals with over a four-octave range and his flamboyant and dynamic stage presence. As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We are the Champions. Freddie was also a great dancer. Th

Superficial friendship

Today, I’m thinking about friendship. Looks like superficial friendship is common everywhere especially the more we get older and older.   I also have some superficial friends, but main point is always whether I enjoy with them or not. If I found no fun to talk or read their messages anymore, I don’t continue the friendship. My closest real friends may be only two. One of them is from when I was 12 years old, since my first grade in junior high school. We know each other a lot and have strong connection, even though we have different view of life, have different hobbies, and have different taste. Mainly we talk about each other’s life asking questions, not only talk about ourselves because I think both of us are interested what we are doing, whether okay or not. Plus honest. I don’t push my interests to my friends, because I know they won’t like being pushed and they won’t be interested. Ray is asking if the interests are different, what can you talk about with frien
