Champagne

It was my husband's birthday yesterday !  My husband loves champagne , so we were shopping for it since a few days ago.  While shopping, we saw many champagne brands, and we happened to see the brand Moet Chandon as well.  When we saw the Moet & Chandon there, it reminded us of Queen's song Killer Queen which contains the following Lyrics   " ~ She keeps a Moet et Chandon in her pretty cabinet ~ "  The composer of this song, Freddie Mercury , had several favorite Champagnes which were made in France, his favorite was " Cristal " and second was the Moet & Chandon.  He seems really a luxury lover.  I always love Italian or German Champagne and wine , so does my husband.  and I've heard that Rose is not good quality image in France?  but I always love the taste of rose.  I love white wine rather than red wine.  As a result we bought the following two sparkling wines.  Schloss Biebrich made in Germany and

Johnny Weir retired from skating competition and becoming a NBC commentator & skating analyst

Johnny Weir has announced his retirement from his skating competition in Today's show and also in his column on October 23' 2013.  http://www.today.com/news/johnny-weir-retires-joins-nbc-olympics-figure-skating-analyst-8C11446723  http://fcnp.com/2013/10/23/johnnys-world-the-ice/    I'm not surprised to hear about his retirement of competition, but it's so nice to hear he is becoming a skating analyst of NBC !   Congratulations, Johnny !!!  I'm so glad I can see him or hear his commentating in all grand prix figure skating events this season and also Olympics in NBC !  I think Johnny , Tara Lipinski and Tanith Belbin are great combination as a commentator. I enjoyed his commentating in worlds 2011.   He is a great public speaker, with witty, outspoken talk. and last Sunday, I watched his commentating for Skate Canada for men's skating with Terry Gannon.  I thought he did great !  I have my own view of each skater, so it's no

Ancient Aliens - History channel

http://www.flickr.com/photos/welshbaloney/364206197/ My husband and I love to watch the History channel and Discovery channel because we can often learn something new through it. Recently on the History channel on Monday nights, they were showing about ancient mysteries . One of the most interesting things in the show was a part about Nikola Tesla who was a genius scientist , who created the alternating current method of using electricity in the world. Without him, there was no electricity , ( or at least not used in the same way or method or as effectively as we know it ) , so therefore no light, no TV, no refrigerator, no air-conditioner, no heater, no microwave, no computer, no internet, etc.. He helped not only billions of people in his generation, but helped people in all future generations. How amazing is that ?  I can't imagine there is no electricity in my life. I'm so grateful to Tesla who discovered a way to use electricity. He was called a

Ghosts - believe it or not ? Curiosity VS Competition

http://www.flickr.com/photos/viperstealth/6750527315/  Recently I happened to find an interesting topic in a popular opinion forum.  The topic was about what do you think about people who say they can see ghosts ( or spirits )?   The person who made that topic of the thread said she can not see ghost and doesn't believe there is such a thing.  She sometimes heard her co-worker saying " I can see ghosts " at work, and she is wondering why does her co-worker say such a thing, and what is her motivation to say such a thing ?  The lady who started the forum topic didn't tell her true feelings to her co-worker directly, she said she just listened to what she says.  Many people started replying to her, giving their opinions.  Most of them are people who can't see ghosts and dont believe it, same as the topic owner.  Also many people answered who can't see ghosts but do believe there are ghosts, and then about 30 people answered who can see g

Health Tips - Super Powerful Cinnamon

We recently found a new cinnamon, and we found that it's so powerful.  It's called Cinnamon , ground,  by the company " Tampico Spice Company ".    It's less than $1 in a supermarket. Until we found it, I was always gathering stick cinnamon because it was stronger than other brands ground cinnamon. According to the information I've read about the " Tampico " company , it was founded by a Mexican immigrant Jesus Martinez as a spice company and they started selling many kinds of spices in Los Angeles USA, in the 1940's.  Their quote is " The freshest and finest quality since 1947. " This cinnamon is collected in Indonesia . My husband has been eating homemade muffins and putting some cinnamon and honey on top of it every morning for breakfast, and I noticed that since he started eating the " Tampico " cinnamon, his facial skin became even more clear and getting younger. He doesn't put on any cosme

I enjoyed both of hi

Tribute to Abba, and to Olivia Newton - John and to 1970's Disco !

Which music makes you cry, makes you feel nostalgic ?  Music which I have great memory with the generation, but haven't listened to them for a long time, almost 30 years makes me so nostalgic, and made me tears.  I love this feeling.  Recently, my husband and I enjoy listening & dancing to 1970s music.   I'm so surprised to know Abba 's songs are still on top of the sales in Sweden, and still listened to all over the world.  The two men in Abba , Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson , who composed all their music are definitely music genius.  And the two Abba lady singers, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni Frid Lyngstad have the voices of angels.  They had sold over 370 millions in album sales, and are still selling millions of CDs each year, making them one of the top selling music artists in history.  My husband's favorite ladies singers are Olivia Newton- John and Abba's Agnetha Faltskog .   I think these two have a similar type of voice and si
