Today's brunch - Happy time

Japanese breakfast menu One of the happiest moments I feel is eating my favorite foods at home. This is my today's brunch.  The menu is * A bowl of plane white rice with vegetable seasonings over it. * Two sunny-side-ups and a slice of chicken ham , * Green asparagus , * Seaweed called Nori ,  ( Thank you to my aunt Miyoko & Uncle Sakae ) * Miso soup with Daikon ( Japanese radish), Satoimo ( Japanese potato ), green onion, The sauce I use for Nori and the main dish is soy sauce . It's one of the Japanese breakfast menus but I rarely eat breakfast, so I often eat this menu or similar menu for my brunch. This kind of Japanese menu never bores me , and it shows I'm really Japanese.  But I sometimes eat garlic toast with cheese and Tuna, and egg and salad instead of the menu. Also in my husband's days off, we sometimes eat French toast or pancake for brunch. Depending on our mood, sometimes we have different feeling of what to eat, so sometimes I make diffe

Everything is a Miracle

Miracle, My image of the idea of a miracle, was always that a miracle means something impossible happens. and I believed that's called a "Miracle" . and that it rarely happens in life. In my life, for example, I've been feeling that meeting my husband was amazing miracle. But when I imagined if I lived on an island where no one lives. There is nothing on the island except for nature, and I own nothing there. On that island, how could I create many things that I'm having in this life right now ? When I was born, there was already many things/people were in the place I was born,  such as my parents,  doctors, nurses, my brother, hospitals,  beds, blankets, pillows, something to wear, paper, pencils, pen, eraser, towels, drinking water, foods, drinks, bath, shoes, electric equipment,  airplanes, cars, bicycles, trains, buses, TVs, telephones,  brushes, dishes, music, cups, stores, restaurants, and much more and more ... But in the beginning of the wor

Language of Flowers - Roses

Last Sunday was a Valentine's day, so my husband gave me a bouquet of red roses and I also made a strawberry decoration cake. Flowers make our room lighter and elegant, and  I felt a different energy are flowing around their space. I love the feeling of it and this kind of moment. Feeling abundance and I 'm grateful for it. I love red roses. It's been my all time favorite flowers since I was a little kid. I don't know why but whenever I imagine the word "Flower", I always pictured " Red Roses" in my mind. For me, it's as if Flowers = Red Roses,  even though I know there are so many kinds of flowers with variety of colors in the world.  I especially love red wine color ones and also light pink red ones. Also I love purple roses, pink roses, white roses, pink tulips, purple carnations, pink gerberas and baby's breaths flowers as well. It's always great to decorate fresh live flowers in our home to make our feeling

Wonderful Japanese Gift from my relatives

So happy !!! My Japanese relatives, aunt Takako and uncle Eimei sent us a gift again , and received it yesterday ! They are my mother's younger brother and his wife and my closest relatives. They have been really nice to me since I was a little girl. I can not say enough to thank them for so many things they did to me and my family in my life. These are Organic Mochi ( rice cakes ) , it's kind of like a sticky rice. A rice cake is made by pounding steamed rice into a cake.  I was telling my husband that I really want to eat Mochi around new year holidays because I haven't eaten Mochi since I moved to the USA,  but Asian super market  here are not selling Mochi. So I was thinking about purchasing it in amazon store.     Also the seaweed called "Nori " , and ground sesame which I eat almost everyday. So, I'm so so happy and grateful to receive their gift ! They don't know about my wish to eat Mochi, so I felt like it's

Best Home remedies for toothaches - Natural Health Care

Having toothaches can be one of the worst pains ever in life. I had a very tough experience with a toothache  when I was 19 years old.   and it happened during the beginning of holiday times and all the stores and hospitals including the dentists were closed for about 7 days at that time. So I had to deal with the terrible pain for 7 days  until the dentist opened. Since then I was already careful for my teeth, because I didn't want to experience such a terrible pain anymore. It's wonderful that there is the internet where we can get many information to get knowledge easily nowadays. ( Depending on the source, of course ) Today, I would like to share our new discovery for a home remedy which cures toothaches. My husband got terrible toothaches last weekend. It was weekend and dentists were all closed so I searched in internet for toothaches remedies. and he tried some remedies below,   Grapefruit seed extract First , he tried grapefruit seed ext

Happy New Year 2016 !!!

Happy New Year ! 2015 was pretty good year for us except for health. So, my most important new year's resolution for this year is keep having good health. and also have a good laugh and enjoy the moment. Because laughing can even cure illness. Also good laugh can increase our frequency level of energy and attract good luck. In 2015, many of my interests were oldies music which I found many kinds of music and films. When I was younger I rarely thought about oldies , but after I reached to 50, I don't know why but I sometimes enjoy being nostalgic, and love watching and listening to oldies films and music and photos of historical places and  etc.. My husband said he feels the same way as me. In the New Year's Eve to New Year, we were watching Charlie Chaplin 's films and were laughing a lot when the New Year came up. Recently, we both are having addiction to watch Chaplin's films. For this year 2016 , I will keep enjoying my favorite oldie
